Afraid not....  I did consider it, this isn't league though. Hopefully we'll get a large even number so we can play some doubles.

Good idea. I'll take a run around when I get out there and see if I can find them.

What do you think about lighting up the baskets?  Too much effort?

Yeah, from my experience it isn't worth the hassle.

I haven't tried to throw since I hurt my ribs. But I'm willing to give it a try. If it turns out badly I can still tote the beer cooler.

Good times were had by all on the last night of league for the season. A baker's dozen of disc golfers braved the threat of darkness to card that last round and take one last shot at the ace fund at WyCo.

Not enough open players showed up so we allowed Dave Hemmeline to play in the masters division (he is of age after all), and he was handed a defeat by Dan Coffman!

Dan Coffman - 55
Dave Hemmeline - 58
Mark Morales - 58
Tom Butler - 60 (CTP winner on #6 for a t-shirt)
Steven 'Doc' Norby - 61
Mike Thomas - 64
Kevin MOntgomery - 68
Mark Hogins - 68
Steve Hoog - 73

Marshall Wolfe - 55 (CTP winner on #5 for a new old-school JLS)
Dean Uhlman - 67
Greg bird - 67
Dan Christianson - DNF

Season stats to follow in a separate post. See you next season!

General Banter / Club Meeting and Elections Wednesday November 8th
« on: November 09, 2006, 04:30:57 PM »
There was a good turnout for the general meeting last night. I counted about fourty club members enjoying sandwiches, chips, soft drinks and beer. The meeting was informative and a lot was accomplished. Here's a recap of the election:

At Large
Secretary - Becky Stebbins (Ran unopposed after accepting the nomination from the floor)
Sgt at Arms - Tavish Sanders (Bested Rick Rothstein in a runoff)

Course Coordinators
Swope - Jim Neill
Blue Valley - Lance Campbell
WW - Terry Adams
Cliff Drive - Jack Lowe
Rosedale - Sean Gibson
Down Under - Pete Cashen
WyCo - Kevin Montgomery
Prairie Center - Bob Hayett

501 3C initiative - Passed
New bylaws - Passed

I think that is the result on the last two. I got busy doing merchandise sales and may have missed some of the discussion. But I don't recall hearing otherwise.

General Banter / Central Missouri State University Course

It's called UCM now. University of Central Missouri.

I think this is a great idea but I don't know where Pertile Springs is. I will send off an e-mail though.

Keep it up Narin. You'll get a course in closer to home before you know it. Any word on the Clinton situation?

Look for a formal agenda to be posted before the meeting.

Hope to see you there

Found and Lost / Orange Aviar at Olathe in the rain

I walked off and left an orange Aviar putter on #4 at Prairie Center on Saturday morning in the rain. It has K.M. #12037 in it. Let me know if you find it, I'd like to have it back.
