Also I have an orange destroyer with M Mills name on it. I'm assuming it's marks.
Wasn't mine, but, witnessed Mark "General" Mills hitting an Ace today on hole 7 at Swope! Pretty sweet! Nice job Mark!thanks james,it's my first in KC,champion boss,
What dont like the fact that you CONTRADICTED yourself & GOT CALLED ON IT... OR the fact that I am PRO RUSSCO ANTI ROTHSTEIN...good to hear that,i'll be at all of ricks gigs then...........just buy your disc online,so nobody has to hear you,or see you
TO EACH THEIR OWN but you wont CATCH ME at a ROTHSTEIN run EVENT or in his STORE EVER AGAIN...
REALLY STARTING to WISH I hadnt already spent about a GRAND at his STORE
I appreciate the comments that have come from tournament players in this thread. We strive to keep improving. In the 38 years that I've been running events, I've still haven't pulled off the perfect one...the one in which every thing went as planned and every player was happy. Of course, Caleb Coffman was not a player in this Wide Open, has never been a player in the Wide Open (as far as I know), and hopefully will never be a player in the Wide Open, especially if I'm involved with it. I think Jack's response as to the reality and the finances of this event covers adequately anything I was going to say.hey rick bet you heard that saying from abe himself....lol
As to the SSR, Jack once more was savvy enough to understand that this was my event. Had it been a Club event that I was merching, then KC Kash would have been accepted.
While I'm disappointed that Jack has chosen to vet his "anguish" about his lost winnings out here instead of talking directly with me, he's taken full responsibility for his mistake and has not tried to impugn my integrity or suggest that the am players were mistreated at the Wide Open.
As to the tenor of most of Caleb Coffman's posts out here, I'm reminded of a famous quote that has been attributed to Abe Lincoln: "Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."Wow having to redeem your winnings that DAY how bogus... BUT i can BELIEVE it... I TRIED to use some KC CASH to buy a TOWEL at the Swope Spring Renewal because both of my towels were soaked & got this RESPONSE from Rick...
" I'm not at my STORE this is a TOURNAMENT"...
REALLY if I hadn't NEEDED a DRY TOWEL I would have put it BACK & WALKED AWAY EMPTY HANDED
SOUNDS to me like the AMATEUR PLAYERS should just start BOYCOTTING EVENTS that have these kind of BOGUS REWARD STIPULATIONS, I mean PART of OUR ENTRY FEES GO TOWARDS the PROS getting PAID...
WAS ANYONE SURPRISED WHEN THIS TOURNAMENT DIDNT FILL
