Rosedale / Hole 14's tee got a facelift

Thanks Jay Rivard, Dave Zentz, and Pete Cashen for the great work taking care for the erosion problem. When was the last time you saw the end of that teepad? These guys put in a 3-4ft retaining wall and some really amazing new stairs, also saw a bunch of work taking place on hole one this evening but 14 is done and its sweet!

The Memorial had over 200, the Tx Natl's had 116, it obviously can be done but KCWO has chosen an alternate method. This discussion has piqued my curiosity, why is there three tournaments instead of two. Transparency is best, when I'm left to wonder about these things I always come up with sinister plots involving the PDGA and $$$$$.

I gotta say it's at least slightly humorous that on the 4th of July in '90, when it was no less than 105 in the shade, the Dead opened their show with Cold Rain and Snow just a short walk down the road.

Stiles shared a Boulevard Smokestack Rye on Rye with myself and Ekolk recently. What a potent heady beer. It hits your palette and tastes like the whiskey barrels it was aged in more than beer, but then you get the nice hop finish. Great brew!
