The tactful decision was to leave that one alone :D, best of luck to you both!

The bracket is here.  I got Loomis and Cooper meeting in the IBEX semi finals, with the winner playing Hemmi (who knocks out McBeth in the 2nd round).   Dave wins by one and goes on to take the whole thing!

I know that's what it's about but I put work time in on that course so I hate seeing it bashed.

You can have your thread back now Peter  ;D

Seems I overlooked one of the pics taken (focus issues, not the beauty of that lovable mug!).  By popular demand, here it is.

Only one problem Tom, in order for me to hit the Ace that means I'd have to spend more than a few minutes in Olathe...
You'll spend all weekend in Topuka chasing a little plastic but won't spend a couple of hours in Olathe chasing cash, interesting...

I had an excellent day at Swope Park today!   Thanks Eric and all of your sponsors, feed me, give me beer, let me play golf, and I'm a hap hap happy boy!  I have pictures but there are a lot and Ace Race is tomorrow so early to bed, early to rise, makes a golfer wealthy and wise.  I'll post 'em here as soon as I can.

That was an interesting clinic, Dave teaches great body posture concepts (head down!) that limit errant throws.  If you missed it today I would highly recommend attending tomorrow.  Thanks for putting it on Dave, and thanks to Pete, Lars, and anyone else involved in bringing him to KC this week!

It was a great day for disc golf, thanks everyone who entertained me all day!  Here are some pics (http://www.flickr.com/photos/46398088@N08/sets/72157631474297728/detail/), I had a great time taking 'em.  Funny, I never felt inclined to heckle, might have been the east side dominating from the get-go... >:(.

I think the civil heckler would avoid "mid-putt" comments, we wouldn't want to get thrown out before the fun starts!

So are spectators allowed to heckle? ;D
I think this is an excellent idea.  Of course I'm fond of the acting first and asking for forgiveness after the fact if busted scenario.  Mike, what about a 10am round at Rosedale, lunch anywhere nearby that has good beer on tap, followed by an enjoyable afternoon drinking more beer and heckling the side of your choice.  Anyone else up for this?  Who knows, it may be the best hecklers that decide the outcome of the match!

Jackwagons!
 ;D :P ;) :o

General Banter / Re: Removing Stamp

Here's a whole thread about stamp removal.  The summary would be that 100% acetone works best.  Be advised that some stamps are harder than others.  Innova wipes easily, Discraft is worse, and some of the MVP stamps are almost impossible.

Correct Tom, on 5 & 6 the sidewalk is in play, street is out.  Steve I think you only missed 12, the path may come into play if you put your upshot 75ft or so past the basket (first round only). 15 has a drop zone that ain't gonna make for an easy up and down and 17, if I recall correctly from last year, played as regular OB, shoot from where you were last in bounds.

Played it this morning and P&R had been busy mulching around all the tee pads, with that and all the great work done last week, PC is looking pretty good right now!

I thought the whole first set was smokin', 2nd set not so much but it had it's moments.  Fishmans comment about Akins during SuzieG was hilarious,  maybe should have been "Todd Akins is no biologist", but still hilarious ;D.  Thanks for clearing up my "Skin it Back" confusion BP, it was great  to see everybody out having Phun!

There are some similarities between us Mick, I'm 53 and have been playing disc golf for almost three years now but have played disc sports for over 30 years.  What we lack in distance we have to make up in accuracy and wisdom.

The PDGA used to have some comments on the page that breaks down the divisions but seems to be gone now, one thing i loved was that they said us grandmasters pull all the trick shots out of the bag.  Try to find ways to incorporate those years of experience with a disc onto the golf course.

Discraft's Challenger reminded me a lot of a regular old frisbee and I've been doing my best to learn to be accurate with it out to about 200ft, throwing both backhand and forehand.  But I swear it's the 20-40ft range that causes me the most problems.  I would definitely look for a putter you are comfortable with and practice, practice, practice.

But most important, have fun!  We are a pretty laid back group and although competition drives us to get better, it's more important to have fun!  Play a round with Kmont (the poster above) and you'll see what I mean.  Looking forward to seeing you out on the course!
