Sure had myself some fun at Swope today with great weather, food, beer, friends, and disc golf competition! Andy and Eric, count me in on any tournaments you guys choose to run in the future. Thanks to everyone who pitched in to make it an excellent day in KC.
Any chance of "reserving" a spot for my son, I told him I'd get him signed up this week but work made that impossible. I didn't realize we're this close to filling and will be rather embarrassed if it fills before I get him in. I'll be in to DGW on monday to pay, promise!
geez Dale you have really harshed my evening mellow. I think you can safely assume nothing except that you threw a disc you shouldn't have and you are willing to make public accusations that you can't back up with a bit of evidence.
And seriously, the only positives were the disc and the player's pak???
Here's some positives for ya, buddy... Ahh the list just kept getting longer and longer, for brevity's sake I'm just leaving my two favorites. Two rounds of golf with a fun course layout that changed a lot in between rounds. Nice use of alt pins and pads I thought. Another thx to those who moved the baskets during their lunch break. And of course it's always fun to get the privilege of spending time with a great disc golf community doing what they love!
Thanks to everyone who came out and made for a fun day of Disc golf in Olathe!
Did he mention the beer, damn that was good beer! Had a great time at one of the finest locations for a party I have been to in a while! Can we do a libra party there next month, just to balance things out .
In case you missed 'em, thx for the props Maurice and Jami. Dick Parker's design, I'm just the humble scribe.
Interesting arguments for cans, thx for posting those 2 links, I'll have to have another look when I'm at the store. The Tallgrass IPA in cans at the H2Open was actually pretty good. Is the Modus Hoperandi available locally? Any other canned suggestions for this hop-head.
I really prefer my beer in a bottle, and I pack out what I bring in, or at least get 'em into a trash can near the road. I do try to set a good example, the "kids" I play with down under see my empties going back in the cooler and they "get it".
But the last thing I want is Barney Fife on glass patrol jumping outta the woods while I'm having my round of golf, you should seriously consider the implications of ordinances and the like. When you invite him into your woods do not expect to be immune from his prosecution.
