Hey Charlie, glad to hear you are safe and sound.  Been a little worried since I saw the news Sat night.

Lemme tell ya a little something about time brother.  Time was invented, orchestrated, and conceived by the man for one thing and one thing only, and that's money!  Have you heard the expression time is money?  What about the other one, money is the root of all evil?  To me, that means time is evil.

The past is gone.  The future doesn't exist.

And the Time is Now!

if you can finish one off in three throws, you get a par.
I fell outta my chair when I got to this.  Nice one Jamie!

I'm on a little bit of property SW of KC with a nice field west of the house.  It has a few trees and gets mowed in July for the Brome, great for practice play with any disc.
Went out a little while ago with the dog and a couple of buzzz's, beautiful evening, trees are all gold and orange, lit up by a great sunset.  Poe is a german short hair mutt with no training but tons of instinct and enthusiasm.  Wasn't long before he pops a covey of quail and I get to thinking about the two Buzzz's in my hand.  So I bring him in, keep him close as we head to the other side of the field and then let him loose, wasn't 5 minutes before he pops another one 200ft in front of me.  I let fly with the Buzzz, missed by a mile but laughed my ass off at the idea of hunting with a disc.

What's best in life?  A man with his discs, the open prairie, and his dog!

Disclaimer:  This is not inhumane, I really think if I woulda hit one it would have went down long enough for the dog to get it.  He's pretty good at this sort of thing, I think he knows that when I have quail for dinner he's gonna get some.

Bert has the can been opened recently?  I got a call last weekend from someone who found a lost disc of mine, since I was unable to get over there I asked him to put it in the can.

A few pics from Rosedale yesterday.

Saw that several baskets were moved today, are we set up for the first round now?

Sure had myself some fun at Swope today with great weather, food, beer,  friends, and disc golf competition!  Andy and Eric, count me in on any tournaments you guys choose to run in the future.  Thanks to everyone who pitched in to make it an excellent day in KC.

That's probably the third time I've seen DD apparel mentioned, what about discs, any chance I can swap the bag for a disc?

Any chance of "reserving" a spot for my son, I told him I'd get him signed up this week but work made that impossible.  I didn't realize we're this close to filling and will be rather embarrassed if it fills before I get him in. I'll be in to DGW on monday to pay, promise!

geez Dale you have really harshed my evening mellow.  I think you can safely assume nothing except that you threw a disc you shouldn't have and you are willing to make public accusations that you can't back up with a bit of evidence.

And seriously, the only positives were the disc and the player's pak???

Here's some positives for ya, buddy... Ahh the list just kept getting longer and longer, for brevity's sake I'm just leaving my two favorites.
Two rounds of golf with a fun course layout that changed a lot in between rounds. Nice use of alt pins and pads I thought.  Another thx to those who moved the baskets during their lunch break.
And of course it's always fun to get the privilege of spending time with a great disc golf community doing what they love!
Thanks to everyone who came out and made for a fun day of Disc golf in Olathe!
