Sick at home with the flu so this was mildly entertaining. I enjoyed my FTL rounds and think it is a brilliant idea. Thanks Harold and Jeff O for doing the legwork!

I'm awake and managing a hangover but still hope to make it.

Had a blast playing FTL in 2013, thanks Harold B.! Finished out at #63.

Is there a need for more beer sponsors?

Said no beer drinking disc golfer ever!

The baskets are from a new(?) outfit in SE Kansas, MD Disc Golf. When I told Mike Carson (one of the company owners) that 12's basket was damaged, IMHO beyond repair, he couldn't believe it, said they specifically designed them to be practically indestructible.

I played out there yesterday and enjoyed it. I thought 12's basket had been hit by a mower, it has significant damage and will need replaced. None of the baskets had caps so a person with a crescent wrench could easily remove the chain hangar and basket leaving only the pole in the ground. I alerted Mike Carson and Dennis V., Dennis said he was in touch with P&R and they'll be out to put spot welds on the bolts.

This course map has the new hole numbering and is pretty much accurate except for hole 8 being shortened to about 275.

It was fun watching Mark and Matt start the round with 11 birdies (right?), and finishing 15 down. Suzette and I played 5 or 6 holes of competitive golf and then enjoyed watching the great round of golf being played and the beautiful evening for golf at the gully.

It was obviously misinterpreted and Peter nailed it on the head.

The rule was that the maximum round score was 72, which was to eliminate extreme outliers. That does break down to 4 shots per hole,

Is this some kind of OP math that Paola folks don't get? 21 holes times 4 per should be 84 strokes.

The results are always posted, go to WW on thursday around 5:15, play a round of golf, and then check with Utz. You can write 'em down yourself. No Facebook/Google/I-phone/pad required.  :D

I know some statisticians will have fun with this data, the amateur cursory glance says drop those outlying 72's and Team Buzz wins handily!

Too bad about the turn-out Eric, it was a beautiful fall-like Saturday, hopefully folks got out and enjoyed it.  I was glad to spend it at Swope with a great bunch of golfers. Thanks to everyone who contributed their time and effort!

Glad you think so Eric. Give the idea some consideration for next years tournament, too late to try to include it this year. I don't want to be responsible for all the crying when team ROC/BUZZZ... failed to win because the TD changed the format days prior to the event.

I'm out throwing in the field tonight, got a bag-o-buzzzs plus the MVP Axis that I have fun tossing around and wouldn't ya know, it's the Axis that was consistently hitting the lines I wanted. And then I had an small epiphany, Eric you have only included the WalMart and Target of the disc golf industry to participate, and this aggression towards the smaller start-ups just will not stand.

I'm championing an epic tournament crash the likes of which KC has never seen before. Team Axis, Team Halo, Team Fugitive, Team Ghost... pack your bags and head down to Swope Saturday morning and let's show these tossers how a midrange disc can really be used! Team Axis is in the works, PM me for details.
