Tournaments / Re: CHILI CONTEST WINNER GETS A BASKET!!!!
« on: January 20, 2009, 11:08:50 PM »
Actually, I was only willing to bet on the Chargers originally because I looked at the odds and thought "What if I went to Vegas.??" I would have thought $20 was worth a risk. I knew they had no chance but thinking about all that cash sounded good.

I'll let my chili and the people who like mine best do the talking.

Maybe we should use the numbers and ask by a yell who liked which #. The person owning the # being called is not allowed to participate but can vote for others.

I thought the guy that brought the chili with the macaroni noodles a couple years ago was about the best chili I ever ate out  there ever. just the right hot with interesting ingredients. He didn't have any angel hair pasta or speghetti and improvised. Otherwise he would have had that and no it was not me. I thouroughly interviewed the contestant about his ingredients. I think I should be a new judge!!! Although I know I make a killer chili, I give credit where credit is due and I honestly think Jack's chili was inferior to others I tasted. And after asking Tammy she even remembered the rancid taste in the meat the year she was there. That same taste was present again last year!! Now I don't know who should have won last year cause I was unable to sample everyones cause there was only a couple peoples left and Jack's just happened to be the one with the most left. I wonder why???
Jack I tasted yours and did not finish it!!!!! YUCK!!!
I know all mine was gone though!! I may have to bring out my mom's big cooking pot she fed a family of 9 with and had left overs for a week!!!!!!

Warning to judges!!!!  Maybe your samples are not incuding his rancid meat!!!

Mantis, you should have really made Scorpians day by taking his tag Sunday. We keep forgetting about our tags being on the line too.

Hell your already whining. Listen to yourself ya sissy. LAYERS!!

Rick, you can check your records to see if I'm wrong but I have not missed an Ice Bowl YET!!!

And believe me, we've played in some pretty miserable conditions. I can remember like 6-8" of snow. That was tiring. I remember the icy down under second round where the guy broke his leg right as i was coming down by him in a different Ice Bowl. And that day was the worst conditions actually beacause it was too dangerous for Down Under play which is necessary for how many people play.

Scorpian was really stinging about getting called on the breaking stick on his back swing area penalty but I wasn't hissing about getting stroked for shooting from the wrong lie!!! HAAAA!! HAAA!!  You animals gotta experience this stuff. Its fun!!  I suck and I still have fun. I may even cash now and then if I'm real lucky.

I think Volleyball was only the beginning of awareness of the attraction to new sports to be added. I thought the m-x bike competition was really cool and they were surprised at the response they got from viewers. So as long as you push and show your enthusiasm maybe they will listen.

Sorry Jack, Will only got part of that right from my perspective.
yes, it will be a close game but those Cardinals looked too good to beat to me.
My money is on the team to never win a Super Bowl!!!!

I have field aced 2 long on the blind shot hole at WW quite a few years back. My drive went short left  kinda on the hill and then I blind shot dueced it with about a 250' shot with a Roc. Fred and a few other chuckers were there. I have hit other long dueces 100' or more but that one was unbelievable.

Otto and Todd played in the Soltace Doubles at Swope last summer. It was set fairly short but they still only shot a -18  first  round  and a -17 second round.

I've seen other good shots but none as awesome as I have read.
