you can get by a couple holes with a few ones to start off with if you run short of time to get change. but it is nice if most people have quite a few ones to start it out. it costs $20 plus the $5 overall

If you were in my shoes you would be scrambling for extra time to play like I do. Thats why you rarely see me on the course. I work nights plus am either playing Homie or some tournament on most weekends unless I go out of town or something which is the main reason I miss alot of tournaments too. I play when i can. It aint like #112 is very coveted. Plus if I did have a low # I would gladly take any challenges during the mornings during the week as long as i was done playing by about 1:30 PM. I am taking challenges on my current # if anyone wants to try me. I'm sure I am not the only one who misses alot of leagues due to other circumstances but at least I do play my tag when I can.

This might be a dumb question, but can someone who is not a KCFDC member get a bag tag. I have some friends that don't play leagues, but have expressed interest in getting tags so they can compete with me and other guys who have tags.

...and the 'rules' of tags say you are supposed to plays leagues or a local event (tourney etc) once a month, at least they did at one point?
That was if you had a low #. I am unable to play monthly but I have a tag. Its been challenged a few times but yet to change hands.

I was in Pevely for The World Of Outlaws Sprint Cars but it was rained out and so were any plans of playing anywhere in St. Louis cause it rained the whole weekend. But it didn't spoil me tasting Michelob Gold Light at the Budweiser plant!

I'll stick to courses I know are SAFE!!! Thanks for the tip.

No one said the course isn't safe Dorkio, they said that they are enforcing the law of the land within the park.  I do not know how many times I have posted in here, don't drink at this park.  Are you really surprised?  Now I for one personally feel as though this is a complete invasion of privacy and rights, but that is not the issue.  The issue is that the entire PARK is ALCOHOL FREE, they have their OWN POLICE FORCE, what did you seriously expect.  Maybe now you will realize that you need to go the 1-2 hours without drinking, smoking, or doing other activities that are against the rules and law.  So why not start a trend and 18 holes of disc golf, get in your car and go where you want to do what you want, just don't do it in the park.....

On a side note, the idea of playing at SM Park just got better by the same comment!  ;D :D

Your personal attacks are totally uncalled for just as the harassment people are getting that are abiding by the law.

I obviously meant I will play where I know I won't get harassed.

I'd say your setting a fine example on here as you are vice pres. of the club attacking one of its members for making a totally innocent comment.

You never posted the exact day of arrival. If you post that plus the course and time you will be there, you will probably have somebody showing up to guide you. If its during the week I'm sure you can find a few loafers to play along. There is a Am only tournament at Swope on saturday starting at 9am if that sounds interesting. Leave a # if you want someone to call you on the days you will be here to play.

John, thanks for all the work you are doing to (literally) get this one in the ground! One comment - please don't brush the pads too smoothly... slippery when wet...

Do you want to plan on helping with Camp WIN again this year?

What is the date for camp WIN. I may be available.

I thought they were talking about tee signs.
I was going to mention how St. Louis has signs not only where the entrance was but also at key intersections on the backside of Jefferson's Barracks.

I do understand the subject matter was about tee signage but I wanted to expand the issue for input before I proceed.

Hey Otter,

Rod was actually the drummer for many years after the original guy left. Rod does the biggest share of studio work in KC and is a really great player. He played on a Rock Christmas CD I had out and did some shows for me. The other drummer on that CD who was also on two of my other CDs and used to live with me is now touring the world as the drummer and musical director for Rascal Flats. And my current drummer was in a band called Banshee and on MTV and all that and is a really sick player - so I have had the good fortune to get to play with some really good drummers!! Just happy to be a guitar player they drag along!!  ;D

I'm sure you would not be playing with that talent if you weren't holding your weight. I bet they were lucky to keep up and understand which direction you were going next.

I noticed when they were putting new signs up for where Wyco is when they were redoing State Avenue they did not include the disc golf course. I wonder if I can pull some strings for Wyandotte and Rosedale. I think we need signs with the name of the course off the main road before every entrance of evey course.

Tom or Hemmi. May I join your group if there is room?
