Did that get anyones attention. I was digging around in a sack I found of some old markers of mine and found a like new, never thrown flying eye mini. I marked my name on the back when I bought it, like a dumbass, beings I was unaware of its future value. I showed it to Pete at the Ice Bowl. He knew the year and everything. He asked what else I had. I have an unthrown and unmarked Classic Rock with the Dancing Skeletons. How much you gonna offer me for that Classic Rock Pete??? I also found a few old stamp club minis.
Yes Jack, I will input my thoughts here!! OK, I never started playing bag tag till a couple years ago and to me its something extra to play for that adds spice. The thing I find it unfair about this plan is I for one work nights. 2pm-10pm. M-F. Impossible to attend ANY leagues except those that are on weekends over an hour from where I live or winter league which I attend on an irregular basis. I have been an upstanding club member for God knows how many years yet I will be left out of getting a chance to draw #1??? EXACTLY what #'s are we so upset about not getting circulated??? And if its really that big a deal I'm sure you can figure what # you shoulda ended up with.
I would like to try and make it BUT we are playing Homie that day and getting there by 2pm is impossible UNLESS I have Tammy meet me at the park and go from there. Do you want me to bring anything to munch on? How does homemade cream cheese Povatica sound? You guys have no clue just how good I can cook!!! Chili is childs play.
Like I said Jack, its not up to you if Kevin and I decide to play for our '08 tags or if anyone else does for that matter till the Ice Bowl. Then once the new tag is on my bag then that one is challengable.
As far as doing what you say, I think you've jammed a few too many times to the album Allan Parsons Project "I Am Robot"
Darn it!!! I still think we should play them till the Ice Bowl. It adds something else to play for. And beings you don't have a # is the same as never having one so everyone else trades and your left out on that but you still cashed so thats all that matters. Its usually a concessus call or agree with whoever wants to do it.
Actually, I was only willing to bet on the Chargers originally because I looked at the odds and thought "What if I went to Vegas.??" I would have thought $20 was worth a risk. I knew they had no chance but thinking about all that cash sounded good.
I'll let my chili and the people who like mine best do the talking.
Maybe we should use the numbers and ask by a yell who liked which #. The person owning the # being called is not allowed to participate but can vote for others.
I thought the guy that brought the chili with the macaroni noodles a couple years ago was about the best chili I ever ate out there ever. just the right hot with interesting ingredients. He didn't have any angel hair pasta or speghetti and improvised. Otherwise he would have had that and no it was not me. I thouroughly interviewed the contestant about his ingredients. I think I should be a new judge!!! Although I know I make a killer chili, I give credit where credit is due and I honestly think Jack's chili was inferior to others I tasted. And after asking Tammy she even remembered the rancid taste in the meat the year she was there. That same taste was present again last year!! Now I don't know who should have won last year cause I was unable to sample everyones cause there was only a couple peoples left and Jack's just happened to be the one with the most left. I wonder why??? Jack I tasted yours and did not finish it!!!!! YUCK!!! I know all mine was gone though!! I may have to bring out my mom's big cooking pot she fed a family of 9 with and had left overs for a week!!!!!!
Warning to judges!!!! Maybe your samples are not incuding his rancid meat!!!
