Dan. That was my evil and ignorant twin you saw. He told me that concert sucked and could not believe he went beings the tickets were like $50 a piece!!!
If that was the most awesome concert you ever saw then you have lead a very sheltered life or that is THE only concert you ever saw.

Dan, I would gladly take you and your sidekick Dusty on any day!!!
Just like the old days of us competing against each other.
For those interested readers, Dan and I used to compete against one another back in junior high and high school. I went to rival Arrowhead jr high and Washington high School while he went to Central and Wyandotte!! We threw the discus in track meets. We went from tossing heavy flying discs to these discs. Dan was not as active in high school but he knows that the competition we had was the best in the country cause them guys were national record holders from Shawnee Mission South.
I just wish I knew how to do the discus spin the way I need to do it properly. It is basically spinning the opposite direction from the way I threw the discus so it is awkward for me. Believe me, I've tried.   Now if I could just learn to throw left handed you guys better look out cause I know i would be throwing bombs using that technique.

As far as playing for the same #'s was why I also suggested having a tournament where everyone puts their tag in a box memorizing your #, shake it up and then redraw in order of the tags present. Then play the tourney by division. Of course i suggested many scenarios but Rick and I were discussing that people eventually get the tags they "deserve" to have and ideally thats the way it should be  but I too like shaking things up by redrawing now and then..

The summer leagues I am speaking of used to be Swope on Sat and Rosedale on Sunday but its been quite awhile so some may not have known or remember those days. I think the days we played Swope it was doubles too. As few brain cells I have left its amazing I remember.

This makes my 18th year of playing.

I was wondering if you could start the walk through after down under league is over. It should be done by 4:30. If not I will try and see if you are out there somewhere.

I will post again that I have 102.
I like the order of # idea for league.
I believe there should be a system in place ranking players so that participants are playing for the # they should have

How about we have quite a few bag tag tourneys throughout the year. Maybe different formats like everyone putting their tag in a box shake it up and redraw in the order of your previous # before you play or draw in order of where you placed overall at the end. Or Of course the usual, play what you have amongst the group. I think shaking things up by redrawing gives people #'s they are not used to having more often. The tourney where you end up drawing at the end would not have divisions.

alternate shot doubles can best be explained by saying bofore any shot is made your team decides who will shoot the first shot on the first hole then you take turn shooting each shot. Lets say you throw the first shot. your partner shoots from that shot's lie and then you shoot where he lands or if he makes it you tee off. get it?? thus alternating shots.

Rick thats an awesome concept. How would picks be decided? Would it be top rated players in each division or just who would match up best against each other? Maybe create a list of interested players and then match them from there to start off. Then  go off won loss stats to decide who plays who and eventually have a match play champ for each division from each state and an overall division champ once each state division champ plays each other.

I mentioned to Jay at Down Under doubles on Saturday to possibly try an alternate shot doubles. He's pondering

I know we have played triples before where the attempt is to team up a pro, adv and beginner at the club picnic many light years ago!!

I also miss the field event tourney with MTA, skill shot from different stations and disc golf. I may have to get in shape for MTA for all the running but i can hold my own in that event.

Dan I like #5  as far as image. Lettering color should be black to stand-out better against blue & white background. Maybe put a little disc golf basket where KC is.
