This old course has withstood alot worse than what will happen this Sunday because of the coordinated efforts of some of the club and non-club members to do whatever was necessary to keep it in as good of condition as possible.

Hell, we had a 35 mile an hour rain we had a tournament in out there for the ROC way back when!!

Im bringing chili and a coleman stove.  The corporate dude is due in around the middle of January so I will direct him to you Rick. I know you have all the necessary info. As soon as there is a sponsorship form available to print please post that info and I will post something at work.

I brought it to his attention but not till it was before the third round. I did get ridiculed but in reality it was Jack that added up the scores since he was the one on my card and had it when  i left. I know I should have checked sooner but thats what I get for being so trusting.
If it was a more "serious" tournament I would have been checking and double checking.

Hey,  has anyone added up his score yet????

I questioned his math eorror on my score of the first round at the beginning of the third round because the card was not added up before being turned in and I had already left when posted. Then when the second round started I basically just looked  to see where i was supposed to tee off. So I did not look at the score he wrote cause I knew I shot a 8 over instead of the 10 up I eventually caught that he threatened to stroke me on. And he was the one who added them up and was on my card. Thats ok Jack we still love ya even though we're doggin on ya.

I would like to see this build like in other cities.Check out the donations raised in the other towns compared to us and they had less people playing. We need to get out and get more corporate donations or ways for money and food can be raised citywide. We could get the TV station that mentions our event on their newscast to mention the charites that are benefitting and ask for donations to be sent to KCFDC Icebowl.
Have we gotten the tax write-off status yet Jack or Rick and if not how far along are we on getting it or whoever knows about that status?

I recently met a corporate guy from Battle Creek, Mich., Kelloggs main office location, that was originally a nuclear engineer, that had been involved in working with city government in getting a course installed locally in a park he knew of in his town that would benefit from its existence.  Anyway, I think I can get this guy to hook us up with corporate donations. I already told him about our Ice Bowls and how many people show up and he said he would be in town that weekend and would possibly come by. I should be seeing him beforehand so I will give him more details, this website address plus the Icebowl web address.
The only problem is he may end up being more interested in raising money for the closest Icebowl event in his town but we may be able to persuade him to get us some sort of merchandise or something if we cannot get major donation money.

Have we got stuff posted at the parks advertising the Icebowl??

I wanna see us get close to 300 people this year.
If we can really put all out efforts together like we did for Worlds Biggest, the year we won the baskets, I think we can top 300.

What are the new tags going to be made of ?
The 2007 tags I saw that were actually in play more than others had become chipped or broken. Either they were dropped hard or stepped on accidently???
I'm not sure if we can beef the material up or come up with a different type tag.  Any ideas anyone?
I read last years post and found the leather patches intriguing since we were known as a cow town plus for better wear and tear.
