Bill, I feel your pain since I've been picking up trash at Swope for 20 years.
Beside the course users there are the other dumpers and litterers. Bottles are the worst.
Technically they are illegal at any park and have the greatest weight to sludge ratio.
Really nice stew in the summer. Gag a maggott off a gut wagon..
You have a particular problem with the hill on 7, from the circle partiers.
I have been advocating pack in/pack out but the local attitude tends to think the parks will take care of it, like their tax money will really go to that. It seems to be an awareness battle. Aluminum cans aren't as bad as  can pickers ( me included ) can recycle them easier.
I am going to play there tomorrow and have trashbags. What is procedure on full bags?
At Swope the policy is to leave them on the roadsides and the P&R will pick them up.

If there are really 3 courses going in, why not make it a different manufacturer on each course?
Just make the position placements universal to accept any of them for a really weird concept course.
It could be promoted as the disc golf test ground. Maybe the mfg's would offer support and discount or improvement funding.

Just on a logistics note. Is Smithville Lake really prepared  to adequately to service (mowing, trimming, trash)  for 3 courses?
They need to talk to Lees Summit, KCMO and WYCO.

Please shovel, sweep, blow, kick or just be mean to any accumulation on any teepad, on any course.
Please don't use chemicals, especially salt. You will appreciate it when global warming kicks in.
BTW it is OK to drop grass seed in the whitish stuff. Not much good for traction, but again...
