Swope / Course Needs
« on: March 08, 2005, 01:00:33 PM »
anybody out there have any opinions about what we need to do to get Swope ready for the season?
before we get rocking on any more new pin placements why don't we fill in some holes, remove all the old concrete/collar combos that have been sheared off, and stop some erosion? maybe even pick up some trash?
we need all the help we can get out there, if you want to freelance a project let's all get in the same book with the hope of ending up on the same page.
and if you just can't help putting in another placement at least make it plumb.

Swope / Spring Renewal
« on: February 09, 2005, 12:26:58 PM »
Due to popular demand the Swope Spring Renewal will be returning to our beloved Gully Golf Course. The date being tossed around is May 14th, since that is Mother's Day all mothers will play free.  Since this date is less than a month before the Wide Open it should also serve as a tuneup for the big show.
Watch this space for workdate postings, in the meantime help improve your course by picking up trash. (Hint: cigarette butts are trash).
We'll be recycling as much of the aluminum as possible this year, the money will come back to the Tuesday league in October.

have a big one,

m richard
