you're surprised the top three gms are shooting better than the master's leader? that's what comes from including age protected divisions on the NT side, they bring a degree of respectability and diginity to the event,
before tank chimes in and points out it ain't the same, the wind does tend to come up later in the day and make things more interesting. looks like most everyone's scores were higher the second time around at vista.
pretty sure my 74 in perfect conditions still stands as the kc record at vista.

Safety is always my number one concern and not giving a word of advice to an unaware player would be irresponsible. If anybody does not feel the same way is their prerogative just as my fair warning is mine.

the reality is there is less chance of someone pulling a weapon than someone willing to pull your weapon. just to be on the safe side it would be prudent to keep both in your pants.

yeppers, missed an easy deuce on 9 last night listening to distant gunfire.
recycling of anything is a good idea, bag up some sand before the wide open and we'll create bunkers so eveyone will feel safe. if it helps we can also set up several safety huts for you to run to if a stranger tries to fondle your birdie bag.

give it time. it will be possible the way innova keeps pumping out drivers that let beginners throw 500+ with no idea of how to control a disc. why not 700+ or 800+ consistently for the top players? shortening bv? shorter pads at legacy? no need. soon enough, the discs will be too dangerous for public parks and will have to be on disc golf only, 100+ acre, pay to play facilities, just like ball golf. its the only way the cities will be able to ensure that their patrons are safe and lower their liability and risk. no foresight by the pdga in my opinion to keep approving these discs. we will begin to see more courses get pulled because of it.
Geee.....here is the positive outlook for the day....
course is set pretty long, for those not mired in sand come on out before corbett moves some short. bring a couple of your buddies and you'll be lucky to shoot in the high 40's.
thanks, cc sounds tempting but it tends to get in the way of keeping the course clean, battling erosion, and rescuing animals dumped there. there will be a glass recycling barrel out there this spring, ripple said they'd hook me up with some purple paint and stickies to make it look official.

the weather's been nice, marshal and erin gave her jimmy john's last week, the real maccoy and no doubt others have been feeding her. why leave? not sure I'd want to go home with the same species that dumped me out there. she seems pretty smart, probably is waiting for the right one to come along.

another warm day to finish out january, perfect for glow doubles! projected tee time temps in the high 50's.
fred has recovered enough to come out and get us started. same deal as always: 6 pm, $5 per, $1 ace fund.
closest to the pin on 17 wins the sweet little dog living under the clubhouse. she's getting friendlier by the day and will almost come up and take a treat from the real maccoy, still kinda wary of humans. seriously, if anybody wants to rescue a nice 12-15 lb muttdog she is waiting for you under the clubhouse deck if not running around socializing with golfing dogs.

come out and show support for one of swope's biggest advocates; fred fortson suffered broken bones in his plant foot last night while taking out the trash. the poor lad slipped on the steps when one of his hush puppies lost its grip and sent him plummeting down at least one step, possibly two.
hopefully he'll be able to make it out next week to shuffle the cards for however many draws it takes to get it right.
