Foot slipped off the tee pad, substantial grip lock and it ended up in that jungle on the right.  Sad day.  Really liked it.

I left a yellow bottom stamped roc3 in the trees on 4.  Doubtful that is the one you found, but worth a shot.

Bright orange champ roc3 up on top left ledge on (old) hole 3 (by the road).  Kicked off tree and landed in that thick jungle.  I miss it :(

Kansas native, former KC resident, currently living in Phoenix for last 3.5 years.  Came here to say that it was probably Lance, but someone beat me to it :)  Lance also runs the weekly Wednesday singles league at Conocido park not too far from Buffalo Ridge, and he's nearly always rocking the KU hat.

Buffalo Ridge is definitely THE picturesque Arizona desert course (Phoenix).  There are a few more, but none with elevation and hiking like Buffalo.  The new 9 holes make it a very fun course to spend half your day at.  They are slowly replacing the god awful old baskets with brand new ones.  It's a slow process but overall the course is kept up really nice by all the locals.

one of my favorite sigs, either someone on here or on dgr is:

"if you have to think about it, it's not a routine"

I live in Glendale.  Buffalo Ridge is probably the closest to me besides Conocido maybe.  I played the first 3 holes of BR but it was getting dark.

Would love to get some rounds in, anytime.  I'll shoot you a PM.

Any good leagues in the area?

I just moved to Phoenix area.  Looking forward to playing the courses out here.  Are Vista and Fountain Hills the best two in area?
