Has anyone been to DU?  I'm assuming it's a muddy nightmare.

yeah, I was afraid of that.  I'm concerned though that if we try to change locations now there will be a big huge confusing mess as to which course we are moving to.  I guess we can discuss with those that do show up about playing up top instead.

I thought there were already 2 leagues at Rosedale on Mondays - ladies and beginners.  As it is the ladies only, I think we can coexist on the same course for one night.

For those that have been DU in the last 48 hours, do you recommend we move to Up Top for PDGA league tonight due to muddy conditions?

Let's play 27 holes at Harmon park in PC. Short fun course, with no mud. And no crowds

I personally think that is the best idea Rob, go there, start everyone at the top, and see how many you get.  If you get ~20, taking up 4-5 holes shouldn't impede the rest of the course, and save on the land Down Under.

It is better with the weather we have had over the last few weeks to error on the side of protection and caution, good idea for thinking about going this direction instead.

MOVING COURSE TO ROSEDALE UP TOP TONIGHT

With the conditions, it would be best for us and the course if we didn't play Rose DU.  It would really suck if someone got hurt.

Meet at hole 1 Rosedale Up Top.  Sign ups start at 5:30, tee off at 6 meaning cards will go out 5 minutes before.

Thanks Jack for the advice.

Sorry Joe - going to stick with Rosie as it was announced last week we were playing DU.  This way I can post something down there to go back to up top for those that don't see us congregating.

Rob, I can confirm that DU is a muddy disaster. I played it this morning before work.

Good call moving it up top...maybe I will make it today...How much for current KCFDC members who are NOT current PDGA members?

Thanks.

Went very well, thanks. The tournament action is not nearly as big as it is down here, but still pulled in people as far away as Fargo, ND and Sanborn, IA. Had lots of compliments and several that came back the second day.

55 on Saturday, 52 on Sunday. Had a 72 year old come out so I opened a Advanced Legends division just for him. By comparison, a C-tier was run on same course last fall and had 25 players.

Weather was great, a bit cool in the mornings, but hey, it was 350 north of here.
