Unique Challenge Idea
« on: December 27, 2013, 12:25:15 PM »
I've got a unique challenge brewing in my head and rather than just trying to figure it all out myself, I figured I would get input from our community. While I haven't fully figured this out yet, I'm hoping to get input on the following:
1.)Your favorite disc course in KC
2.)Your favorite hole on that course
3.)Your favorite hole outside of your favorite course
4.)A piece of land in the KC metro that would make a unique and challenging disc golf hole. (Google Map link or coordinates preferred)

Your input is very much appreciated as I continue to formulate my thoughts.

1. Waterworks
2. #14
3. #11 at Big Blue Valley
4. The Kenneth Smith property in Shawnee, KS. Used to be a private course for a custom Golf Club maker, but it's been unused for at least 10 years. Great piece of land that would make an awesome course.

Guys, I really like your thoughts here, I spent some time over the weekend putting together a map of some holes I think might make for a fun course through Penn Valley Park.  I am not sure if the holes I thought of are too long or too short since I didn't go out there and walk it yet, but I'd love feedback on if these hole would even be doable and what other spots within the park you'd like to see holes.
