It's Frostbreaker Week!!!  There is some snow coming during the week, which I'll do my best to make sure the pads are cleared.   I know there are some people waiting until the event, but please pre - register if you are planning on playing so I can get as much done as possible.   This will make for a quicker and smoother event.

I appreciate your confidence, but I'm playing left handed. :) And don't pick on Gonzalez.

So is there any chance of this tourney being postponed a week?  If not, what is the best method for finding a disc in foot deep snow? Can you use lights and do they help? I have never played in this type of weather and if anyone has any tips they would be appreciated.

We will need to ribbon our discs.  I mean taping a 3' length of ribbon to each disc so we can find them.  You tape it on fold the ribbon over and tape it again.  It is best to do it with warm discs and tape so you get good adhesion.

for those that snow golf, ribbon is better than LED?
what kind of tape do you use for either?
typically I use packing tape. duct tape seems to sticky, eh?

pdga rules allow such radical disc alterations? how will this affect player ratings?

If this is rescheduled, how does the refund process work for those who are traveling from out of town and can't make the rescheduled date?

The tournament is not getting postponed.  It is just snow and no reason to change the event date.  I have special permission from the PDGA to allow ribbon or LED lights during the event.

I was also wondering if duct tape would be a better choice. And if so, what is the best method for cleaning the adhesive off of the disks afterward?
