The KCFDC invites folks of all ages to the Blue Springs Youth Sports and Rec Expo, on January 25th from 9am to 1:00pm in Blue Springs at the Adams Point Conference Center.  The KCFDC will be represented by having a booth.  Joe Hammontree, myself and others will be out representing the KCFDC.  Our  booth is in the hallway that everyone must pass through to enter the Expo so we have prime real estate. This is a great spot for  our putting contests, demos, baskets, disc games etc.  Thanks to the club and DD for donating  some discs and a bag as prizes for putting contests.  Thanks to the  PDGA  as well for donating magazines.

This is late notice, however if you would like to come out and support disc golf and the KCFDC, please come by.

Thanks,
John

Thanks for all you are doing out there, John and Joe! Is there a cost for entry on this event?

No cost.  This event is a way for kids to sign up for different team and individual sports in Eastern Jackson County.  Plus there are non traditional groups like us out there promoting our activities.  Usually some fun demos to watch as well.  In the past different mascots ie Chiefs, T-Bones, Mavericks make it out as well.  If you are free, bring out the ringer and he can compete in some putting contests against kids his age for discs.  Every kid that comes by our booth leaves with a magazine  and hopefully had some fun throwing some plastic at the basket.
