Up until now I've been entering the results the same night of leauge. I'm not going to be able to do that any longer.  I promise though they will be up within 48 hours.

Big news last night.....we had an ACE!

Nick Altieri hit hole 8 at WyCo with Kevin Zane and Joe Hesting on his card.  Congratulations Nick!

With 18 players in the Ace Fund, it was up to $195.  I'm not exactly sure how the club pays this out as this is my first time dealing with an Ace, but we'll figure it out

Ace fund= 1/2 pot (Drop the $.50 give the player the added $1) minus club dues ($20) for an additional year.  Yes you can be paid WAY in advance.  I think that Beckett had 7 years in advance at one point on aces from leagues.  So in theory Nick should get $78 + an additional year added to his club dues.

pdga has been updated

http://www.pdga.com/tour/event/17358

Joe Hesting with a 1007

Nick Altieri has been given the coveted 'Ace' middle name for his accomplishments.

Props to the Andrew Stomps for having all of his rounds above his rating so far.

Face palm to Rob Martin for having all of his rounds below his rating so far (I had an excuse this week at least).

Mina Dennis - I placed you in the MPO for the PDGA portion as this would give you the most points in case you wanted to go to Worlds next year.

Where did you get the points configuration?  I noticed that last year's PDGA league didn't tabulate any points......though I as well thought that points would happen.....

It tabulated points.  It's the first column to the left of your name when looking at the event results.

http://www.pdga.com/tour/event/15053

Look at my player statistics for 2013.  I got 48 points from the first session.

http://www.pdga.com/player/51540/stats/2013

Jack - you got 26 points last year from the leagues.

Points can be found here:

http://www.pdga.com/documents/divisions-ratings-points-factors

Leagues are awarded 1/2 points of a C-Tier per evening for each respective divisions.

Quote
Do players earn PDGA points?
Yes. Players will earn PDGA points based on how many players they tied or beat in their division during each week of play.  League points are 1/2 the amount of points of a C-Tier tournament

Looks like round two of PDGA was approved.  The Wandering is going to get a little Wider.

FINAL Schedule for Wider Wandering Wednesdays (WWW).

edit 6/20

6/25 - W. Young
7/2 - WyCo - Beer night
7/9 - Legacy
7/16 - Water Works (prep for H2Open)
7/23 - SMP
7/30 - Roesdale Up Top (prep for Midwest Am. Champ)
8/6 - Swope
8/13 - Rosedale DU
8/20 - Cliff

I've also been working on trying to get a PDGA league started in Lawrence on Mondays starting June 2.  The progress for it is a little more sluggish than I was planning on, but I'm still pressing forward with it.  We'll see.
