MANY of the players did not stick around for the payout as it was almost 9:30 before payout was completely calculated.  If you won something, I will have it with me during the entire KC Wide Open.  Please come see me.  I will be at the following this week:

Thursday - Water Works (8am - 5pm), Swope (until after the player's meeting)
Friday - Swope (all day)
Saturday - Blue Valley (all day)
Sunday - Blue Valley (all morning), Swope (all afternoon)

When I heard that Van would be unable to run league tonight I volunteered -- but it turns out I won't be able to make it myself. Can anyone else take it up?

24 players out for Swope league tonight and in my opinion a very friendly group. Van couldnít make it. Then CD couldnít either, so in the end, I did. Happy to help out at the gully course. A great mix of players tonight. I think the Masters division was at WW tonight.

Open: A two way tie for first ended in a play off between Matt and Anthony. Anthony prevailed on hole one.

Anthony Martella 46- 14.00
Matt Perry 46- 9.00
Kitz Seibert 48- 7.00
Kelly Babbit 50
Brian Swezy 51
Keven Corbett 53
Derek Holt 54
John Friend 54
Eric Kolkmeier 56
Kyle Weidwald 56

Advanced: A three way tie for first. No play off. Good shooting guys.

TJ Barnes 56 -6.00
Conner Knutson 56- 6.00
Josh Hurt 56- 6.00
Alex Wegman 60
Gary Bierge 73

Intermediate: A steady group of loyal league players in this division. I have met more than few new faces at this league. Keep getting better guys. 55 would have been second to last in Open and won Advanced. Just sayin'...
Graham Long 55- 10.00
Brett Main 57- 8.00
Brian Freeman 58 -7.00
Ben Patterson 59- 5.00
Zach Firil 60- 5.00
David  Blackburn 61
Andrew Warren 64
Michael Hendrix 66
Todd Henderson 71

I love paying out KC Kash dont get me wrong, but a score of 55, heck even up to 59 shouldn't be considered "intermediate" as usual thanks for coming out, and thanks to eric for running it!

poor graham is just getting back to playing regularly after a layoff to complete educational goals.
now that he's been sufficiently chided please try to find it in your hearts to forgive him for having a good day at league. just sayin.

8-12-14

Kitz and Caleb played off for first in Open. Kitz took the dollar. A lovely night and thanks to all who came out.  We played short pads except 5 and all OBs and Mandos. Lots of ace runs but no luck/love tonight. Thereís a great spread through all divisions at Swope this summer. Itís a good vibe out there folks. Thanks to Van, Patrick, Ben, Stiles, Cashen,  the aluminum can guy, and everyone I am forgetting. I had the pleasure of a mediocre round with Brett and Thomas.

Scores:

Open
Kitz Siebert  44 won play off $10
Caleb Walker 44 a respectable tying score $9
Derek Holt 51
Eric Kolkmeier 51
Thomas Davis (a rare appearance and an unlikely score) 53

Advanced KC Cash
Eddie Colbert 49 $8 (you are owed 2. I made a mistake)
Trevor Albers 50 $7
Graham Long 50  $5 (I screwed up the payout for Trever and Graham. Should be 6 and 6)
Ben Patterson 54
Luke Biskup 54
Brett Main 54

Intermediate KC Cash
Bill Nicholson (in from Kansas) 51  $10
David Blackburn 53 $6
Nate Zier 60 $5
Adam Abernathy 62
Carl Aufnar 62
