Water Works Findings
« on: May 31, 2014, 11:18:35 pm »
Found a couple of dics at WW last weekend and the phone numbers now belong to a couple-a-jackassez.  So if you lost a disc on 5, 6, 7 or 8 let me know what you lost and I'll stop throwing your discs and get them back to you.

Negative JD.  Rosco P Coltrane will keep a look out for your plastic though.

This is a REAL long shot, but is one a purple Cannon with an autograph on the front?  Woulda been behind 8 in the brush.
Sorry to hear about your luck!!!   :P

I'm kind of confused on the first sentence above.  Somebody found a Blue King of mine on hole 5 and called me a few days ago.  I asked that they drop if off at DGW or DD next time they stopped in and I would just pick it up from there.  Was this you that called me?

Nope.  Sorry.  I texted the numbers and was told to f-off (literally) by both people.  Clearly the numbers were not the owners of the discs anymore.  Such kind people out there anymore.

Negative on those as well Utz.  One disc got turned over at Legacy on 10 a few days ago and is now resting in the hands of the Legacy Gardens near the pavilion.  It was a Sidewinder.  Pretty faded and orange in color.  Stamp was barely visible.  I'm sure someone will find that disc...next winter.

Tell more more about the TeeBird?  I have found numerous TeeBirds without any name or number on them.  Do you always mark you plastic w/ name/phone?  I don't know if I would have sought out a TeeBird without finding one first.  Such a great disc for nailing the basket.
