Where do you want to play? Four fridays until MAC, we should probably play rosey and ww two of those weeks. I was thinking we could do an Old Pike or Jesse James this week.

What's your vote? I'll make announcement on Wednesday evening.

According to DGCR Old Pike is Pay-to-play.  Is this still true?  I've never played it. Says $50 per year and no daily passes.

Has anyone played Jesse James lately(is it mowed)? Maybe Baldwin lake? Same questions for it.

The Baldwin City Lake course is mowed fairly well and looks beautiful. But be warned, the rough is rough on about half the holes. If you get off of the mowed fairways in shorts you will bleed. The tall grass is marked OB on the signs. That being said, it was my first time there and I really enjoyed the course. Better than expected.

Thanks for the review Ted (and the sweet photo). My vote is Baldwin City course in the morning, Free State Brewery for lunch, and Centennial in the afternoon.

5 for Old Pike.
1 Baldwin/Centennial

I'll check with Old Pike again, but a couple of years ago, I called and they said if we dropped a couple bucks in the donation box we could play. I've played several times out there since and no one has questioned me.

(I would like to play Baldwin, but I prefer tee pads. Also we played Centennial a little over a month ago. I like this idea too.)

I hear that Balwin City is a fun course with several water holes.  No one has contacted me about Old Pike. Old Pike allows guests with permission for a $5 daily fee. That may be a deal killer for traveling league.

Played Kearney (JJ) last night and it is in really good shape.
