Course Conditions
« on: July 07, 2014, 11:24:14 PM »
Course looked great! New tee signs are Bad@$$. The new possible pin locations are pretty sweet looking. Lakeside could have some serious teeth if stretched out.

On a different note- i have been playing lakeside with some OB lines. Sidewalks on most holes work for good OB lines and tall grass on other holes.

Thanks for the hard work.

Any plans in the near future to relocate some pins?

Hopefully not too soon. I dig 18 long. I got some friends coming in town and looking forward to showing off the current layout.

I was able to play birdland last night (first time in a while) and it looks incredible.  I don't know that I have ever seen a course installed from scratch look this good in just a short year and a half.  The pads, tee areas, tee signs, fairways, rough, next hole signs, baskets, multiple pin locations, etc. etc. IT ALL LOOKS AWESOME!  It's one heck of a course!  Great job to all those involved from the start until now, you have done one bang up job, WELL DONE!

Played out there today for the first time. What an excellent course, and very well kept. It was definitely worth the drive from Lees Summit.

I must concur wholeheartedly...played my first ever round out there with fellow Grandmasters K~Mont, Tony Todd & Bomb Tutler last week.  Nicely manicured & scenic course with doable obstacles.  My kind of course in that placement golf is key on many of the holes.  I'll give it a 10.  Yep, a 10.  Birdland/Lakeside Hills is right up there w/ WW & Cliff Drive.

Yah less than a mile from me house!  Thanks to Olathe P&R it's mowed weekly.   And... thanks to master Bomb Tutler!

Gotta throw my kudos to Bomb Tutler in there too....  Awesome job on this course by all who had a hand in it and by Olathe Parks for taking such good care of it thus far. Nice addition to the KC area courses indeed. Well done!
