Innova? Innova!
« on: September 04, 2014, 07:33:05 PM »
So, curious what your favorite Innova models and plastics are?

Mine are:

Yeti Pro Aviar (bagged)
Mako - Star (indispensable)
Gator - Star (sometimes bagged) and beat DX (putter when playing GBO windy)
TL - Pro and Star (both bagged)
Teebird - GStar (bagged)
Valkyrie - Star, Starlite, (both bagged) Echo Start, Champion, Glow Champion in that order all as backups
Destroyer - Pro and Star (bagged both)
Tern - Gummy/Jolly Launcher Champion (bagged)
Wraith - Blizzard Champion (bagged)

Alternates depending on circumstances

Mako3 - Champion
Sidewinder - Champion
Leopard - Champion
Rhyno - DX stiffer
TeeDevil - Blizzard Champion
Viking - Champion

There is a reason why I'm asking but I'd rather not get the cart before the horse

In general - I prefer Star, GStar, Starlite.

I don't think the Champion Glow glows very well.  But it does seem to be a bit more stable than standard Champion.

I strongly prefer Jolly Launcher (Gummy, right?) Champion over regular Champion.

I'm curious about:

TL3
Teebird3
Nova
Krait

Now we're talking the best plastic around. Most of my drivers are lighter around 168 but I throw a couple 150's as well.
In the bag:
11x Champion Tee Bird 150
CE Valkyrie 175 (as stable as a destroyer)
Pearly Champion Beast 169
Star Roadrunner 169
G Star Tern 170
Champion Leopard 168
11x Champion Eagle 165

Otherwise I love to throw:
Valks, the amazing Star Sidewinder,Beasts, 11x Eagles and TeeBirds, 2x Champion Leopards, the occasional Wraith, but you see I throw lighter and flippier.

Did Tank convince you to start this thread?

I LOVE my Ice Bowl Mako.  I lost it at Olathe Lake.  $10 for safe return.  Dick, what are the chances that DGW has some?

Star Destroyer.
Champion Tbird

I carry a
155 and 160 Blizzard boss
4 Destroyers, 160 champion,165 GStar, 153 Blizzard and a 168 Pro
1 168 Champ Krait
1 170 Champ Tern
1 159 Starlite T-bird
1 168 Champ T-bird
1 160 GStar T-Bird3
1 172 Star Leopard
1 175 Champ Firebird
1 175 Nova (Anhyzer approach and step putter)

The Starlite T-bird is actually more overstable than the T3.  I really like the T3 and the Nova. I just started using the Krait a couple weeks ago, but I already like it a lot.

Plastic wise, right now I like the Gstar and Champion plastics.  I cannot seem to get a good release with the star plastic so those always end up in the trunk.

In my trunk is a Star Boss, Star Destroyer, Star Valkarie, Star Archon and a Star Wraith.
