Tournament has been registered.

Defiance Beer is confirmed as a beer sponsor.  Yes, part of the player's pack will be a beer or two.  Cannot be consumed until the tournament is over (it is a sanctioned tournament after all).

If you know me...disc golf and beer.  Two of my favorite things.

When I have even more details, I will repost a more concise thread under tournaments.  This is more of an open announcement of progress because I'm excited.   ;D

Received fourth sponsor today.

1. TriLion Studios.  All design work.  All of us appreciate good design work.

http://www.trilionstudios.com/

2. Defiance Beer.  From Hays, KS.  New microbrewery that rocks.  Every player of legal age will receive a beer or two when tournament is over.

http://www.defiancebeer.com/

3. Innova Champion Discs.  Every Amateur player will receive a disc.  Other stuff will be available.

http://www.innovadiscs.com/

4. Sunflower Bike & Outdoor.  Bikes, discs, outdoor gear.  Awesome bike shop that has a ton of other gear...including disc golf.  Oh yeah.  At least one round of 'Win your card, win a prize'.  Prize will be a gift certificate to store.  EDIT:They will be $10 gift certificates.

Will keep posting details as they come in.  Will post under tournaments when it becomes more cohesive.

...the the final sponsor - Grip Equipment.

Still working on flyers, details, etc.  But additional information I can add:

There will be added cash for Pros.  $10/player up to $250 total.  If more than 25 pros enter (which would cap it), the $250 will be split into divisions based on players per division.

Ace Fund will be a Grip Eq Ace Bag Fund.

Cost is $5.  If an Ace is hit, you win an A14 or C14 bag.  If more than 2 aces are hit, those that hit an Ace will have a CTP after 2nd round to play for the 2 bags.  If no aces are hit, all players paid into fund will have a CTP for the two bags with the winner choosing first bag and second getting the other bag.

These bags are combined value of $449.

You said it was an early design, but is that a Nova?  OOOH!  This looks like a great tournament.  Can't wait.  What is the cap going to be (you mentioned 25 pro)?
Boom goes the Dynamite!

Yeah, that's an early design up top.  We are redesigning the logo to incorporate Grip Eq's logo as a predominate feature.

Cap is 90 total.

No cap on Pros per se.  There is added cash for pros at $10/player that registers and plays with a total cap of added cash at $250 which would be 25 pros.  If 31 pros sign up, added cash is still $250 and would be divided at $8 per person per division.  If 17 pros sign up, then added cash would be $170, $10 per person per division.

For Ams the extra funds are going towards PDGA sanctioning, insurance, etc so not to take away from payouts.

The disc above I think is an Atlas.  It's what my designer found on the web for a blank disc background.  I'm not planning on ordering Atlases.

While discs have not been ordered, Nova was one of the top choices I'm looking at.  Current thoughts (no promises) are:

Gummy champ glow Destroyer
G-star Teebird3
Roc3 (haven't decided on plastic)
Nova - Pro plastic centers
Yeti Pro Aviars
maybe DX Rocs

Rob this sounds awesome! I'll register as soon as I know I'm free that day!
Also, not that it matters, but my preferences for those discs would be Nova, G-Star Teebird, Roc3(in Gstar or glow maybe?), and the destroyers. I say that just because the yeti's and the DX rocs are somewhat plain and can be purchased pretty much anywhere. But it's your show and you won't get any complaints from me regardless. I appreciate you running this!
