The Frostbreaker will be meeting at Shelter #1 which is across from the parking lot near Hole #7 and #8.  You must checkin in between 8am and 8:45am.  Please spread the word to your friends who might not see this.

Also based on previous years, there is a good chance that we will have less than a 1 hour lunch so be prepared for a shorter lunch time.

For those who do not know, take a right when entering the main entrance off of Renner Blvd., as opposed to a left that you would normally take to get to the first hole. You will run into it no problem.

Will there be a bunch of fancy collector automobiles in that lot?

Anybody going to make it out before the tourney to shovel teepads?  SMP is quite the hike for me or I would do it myself.  It would be MUCH appreciated!!!

I cleared off the tee pads this morning. I'll try keeping them clear throughout the week.
Thanks, when we got there they were all cleaned and we had a nice round.

As of today there is no snow on the pads.  According to the forecast we are expecting more ice and snow.  I am going out there tonight to put salt down hoping that helps a little with any ice that does come down.

Steve, I haven't had a chance to watch the whole thing but just checked out the first few minutes - looks cool! What software did you did you guys use to turn the raw footage into the finished video?

Congrats on 3rd place!

I used Cyberlink Power Director 13.

You can download a fully functional trial for 30 days.  I went ahead and purchased it on Amazon for around 50 or 60.

It helps to have a computer with a SSD and a decent video card.  I also used Audacity (open source yay) to split the song into 6 second chunks.

It can be pretty tedious to do the edit, especially the first time.  Once you learn some keyboard shortcuts (Ctrl + Alt + T brings up the Trim Tool) and other tricks it gets a lot easier.  We still need to do a better job cleaning up focus / camera angles (don't film behind a tee sign lol).  We are certainly still very very amateur, but are improving a little.

You were out filming as well right?  I would love to see some of the shots you got.  If you wanted more help feel free to contact me on Facebook or something.  It seems like you and I both share the same passion for trying to promote the sport / local scene.
