Nothing is mentioned in the rules discussion here, and doubles have never been mandatory in the past.  I can't really think of a fair way to do a doubles tag challenge, and Joe's tag should of never been at risk unless it was discussed and agreed to in advance.

Sounds like someone was trying to hustle the #2 tag by making up "rules".

On my first Open card ever, and my first league night of the season I won the highest tag in play :( 136.  I just hope the guys in my regular group will still let me play.

I've had #54 for like 4 weeks now.

I held #15 for a long time. Then lost it and got #36. I kept it for a long time.

Yesterday, I lost by 2 strokes and am holding lucky #119. Yuck. I am going to be looking to get rid of this crappy tag, so watch out! ;D

we've played the tags thru doubles a couple ways
_on our pro/am league (upper players teamed with newer/rec players) its usually only the uppers with tags so we'll just put 'em on the line based on the dubs score- which still leaves lots to chance but each tagger is still 50% of his team so its somewhat fair (and our tag tourney isn't til october- might as well spice things up...)
_if all four on a dubs card have tags the top team takes the lower two tags- whoever had lower per team gets the lower of the pair awarded to the team...

quite an ethic of gamblin up here in mishygan too so the golf bag now gets all my change for playin skins or score or both or ript in singles or doubles etc...
our CCRleague tags (lansing) are dogtag sized and colorcoded with #1gold, 2-10green, 11-20(30?)red, all higher #'s black I think...

I still have an old KC tag from when brad did 'em back in 03 or somethin- he still around?...

#1 changed hands at WyCo Friday night. Arturo gave it up to Mike Davis after losing to him by one stroke, with Mike shooting a 53. He says he'll be there again this coming Friday to defend it.

The RBM continues to defend a top 15 tag.

53 at WYCO? Is the course set up long right now?
