Tournaments and League Play
« on: February 21, 2007, 10:03:57 AM »
Three questions:

1) Has the KCFDC set there 07 tournament schedule, and if so, what would that be?  I know there were some tournaments listed in the last newsletter, but I did not know if those were permanent.

2) Do leagues start the week of DST, and when/where are leagues held?

3) Are there any bag tags left?

On a side note, while it was my first time playing in a minor flood, it was great to be out on Monday to play.  Hopefully, the courses will dry up over the next few days because it sounds like perfect weather is here for till end of the week.
Over the line, Smokey! I'm sorry. That's a foul.

Leagues are every night of the week during daylight savings time....yes leagues will start on March 12th at Olathe and Cliff.

I imagine we will need to tee off by about 5:15 for the first couple weeks but after that normal league start time is 6:00.

Mondays - Prairie Center & Cliff Drive
Tuesdays - Swope
Wednesday - Rosedale
Thursday - Water Works
Friday - Wyco
Sat or Sun - Blue Valley

Thanks a lot for the info.  Hopefully, school and work allow me to make it to some of the leagues.  Exactly how does league play work?

$5 for club members or $6 for non-club which includes the ace fund per course.

Open, Women, Masters, & Advanced divisions with all paying cash except Advanced get paid out in KC Kash which is redeemable at DGW or with the league runners who carry plastic.

Bag Tags are also available at DGW and I have 8 left which will most likely be sold at the Kan-U-WyCo tourney or catch me on the course sometime.

When you're a KCFDC member and you pay your $5, you have paid for the ace fund, correct?

Leagues start March 12!  Probably we'll start at 5:30PM, due to the daylight issues.  Daylight's not an issue on April 1, but 3 weeks earlier makes a difference.
