Last year it was a singles event.  I expect it to be singles again this year, but I'm not 100% on that.

The DUI is a singles tourney. Not many doubles tourneys in KC. Be neat to have a PDGA sanctioned XC tier at Blue Valley though.

Agreed. That course is made for an event such as that...

Is the DUI a true invitational, or is that just the name it's given?
Over the line, Smokey! I'm sorry. That's a foul.

Without the "I" for invitational it would just be the "DU"...haha

It is not by invitation only so come one...come all!

DUI just sounds so edgy and dangerous........   kinda like the course. That's why we call it that, catchy ain't it.....  8)

If you see an advertisement for it or hear about it or simply are aware there is an event called the DUI - You are invited!   ;D

If you are oblivious to it, for instance someone living in Alice Springs in the Australian Outback who remains completely unaware of the course or even Rosedale Park, then you are not invited. But that is an obvious and moot point I suppose.  ::)
