I've recorded 2 aces in traditional (ball) golf. Both down in Florida. 6 years of disc and still waiting for my 1st.

Wichita Herman Hill old hole #4 with the backstop by the pad.
Stingray with my son wailing on a kazoo next to me.
10 years later I got #2.

For some odd reason, Steeler Doug pointed out to me yesterday that one should distinguish an ace as either a skip ace or not.  Seems he thinks a skip ace don't take no skill.  :-)

But you did give me back one of my First Run APX's that day, so I do appreciate you being out there!

best ace I've seen.....probably Nick Arbeitman #6 down under, freezing cold, throws a tomahawk, it hits in front of the basket, and hops in the thing, barely touching anything......

best almost ace, and an "I Can't believe it"
2004 in Indiana, playing with my buddy Jerome Harvey, throws a roller......on a 350' hole, street/sidewalk to the right, trees to the left.......hits a tree root..........jumps in the air......hits another root......jumps in the air...smashes the chains.....and dangles out.......it would have been my first witness to a "roller ace"......Btw....I did pay the $1

Stories like that are why I try to film as many rounds as possible.

Best ace we never saw....
Back Course at Albert Oakland in Columbia
Old hole 7, new hole 9, short pin on the right behind the trees. George Smith throws a roller that barely gets through the first gap and on the ground. It disappears behind the trees that block the basket from view. When we finally get to the basket, George's roller is sitting in it! Didn't hear or see it, but I still paid the man. Amazing.
