Yes there is a walk from 15's basket back to 16's tee, but there is no long walk back from 17's basket to 18's tee so it was a switch off of sorts. Still looking at options for 15 to move also this just gets the course up and running again and disc golfers out of the back yards.

Let's bring a lil DU Rosedale to 15 and 16 then.
Move 15 pin side of hill in the woods.
Use 15 pin as pad for 16 pin.
Move 16 pin into woods.
And 16 pad out to 17, just on edge of woods, right of 14 long pin.

Yea yea yea. I know. Dupid ideas probably.
Hey, I'm no course designer. ;)

This is unofficial and purely based on my observations tonight.

It appears a hole will be added between 9 and 10.
10 will become 11.
11 will become 12.
12 will become 13.
13 as it is now will be eliminated and that land will become 17, and it will play reverse.
14 will remain the same though losing that big tree in the middle changes the hole.  The stairs basket becomes moot.  Should play to the longer, straighter placements IMO.
15 remains the same for now...  I could see a straight up hill shot through the woods from beyond 14 basket up to the current 15 placements.
16 will be from behind the current 15 pad through the woods-a tunnel has been cut out-- maybe to the current long 13 pin placements.  That's unclear.
17 will be from current 13 green on the right back towards the current 13 pad.  Unsure where the pins will be.
18 remains the same.

;)

That Goat Pasture
should have been redesigned years ago.
Those Yapping little bastard  dogs along #16 and #17 , have disrupted my golf game too many times...
They should change the name to clover patch
And buy more goats...so that its mowed properly.
...Go Royals...

You 2 shouldn't fight because you both can throw a disc really far. I mean you both can out drive everyone on your card.  :)  :)  :) See, it's okay because I put 3 smiley faces.
You're late to the (nascent) fight -- we've already made up. It was a misunderstanding.

Thanks for the update Pete. I'm sure you'll figure it out.

I did not realize the entire course was in peril. That casts a rather heroic light on Pete indeed. Cheers!

The Parks Department has started removing the pads at 13, 16 and 17 so we pulled the baskets 13 thru 17 so no one would walk behind a bobcat or a dump truck. I will reinstall the baskets Thursday or at the latest Friday when the Parks Department is done with their work. I have signs being made to explain the new layout to the public.

The new layout will open for play tomorrow afternoon around 4:30pm after the parks department finishes up! I need to THANK Dave Zentz for his help everyday at the course he has done it all for the new layout. Larry Balmer, His partner Tim, Jay Rivard, Danny Knox, Bob Ward and the Parks and Rec crew, also Jack Webb and Matt who oversee the parks department and especially Cecil who works for the Parks and Rec and plays Rosedale all the time! There will be temp signs up to tell you how to navigate the course. Thank you all for your putting up with the construction.

I love that you are able to do such creative things with that space.  It looks like some good wooded changes bring some more challenges.

Great job folks.
