5-01-07 the Ace Fund was at $320.00, and I have recieved no stats or reports of deposits since that date.  The league director should have the proper information to get these paid out.

BUMP!!!

If anyone is in contact with Jim or can get league info from him, please do so.

There have been 2 Aces hit out there in the last couple months that I have not been able to pay due to lack of information.

This is another good example to why league stats should be posted each week, anyone can do this, just grab the cars after league and post names with scores.  It doesn't take much time but is a HUGE help in the long run.

We've had the same problem in the past.  What I did to fix the problem was create a file that lists every league night, who ran league, and how many players attended.
This can keep a running total of the ace fund as well.  There should be one person that scores are reported to if they can't be posted on the forum.  Keeping cards works too, if you don't lose any.

It's a lack of involvment. I'm guilty as well. :( Direct result of a hand few of people carring the load.

That's not the problem, the problem stemmed from the league data not being turned in.

I know.  If you have some kind of record that tracks who has run league every time, you know who you have to hunt down for the money.

Another thing we have done is make up club night sheets that track all the money for each league event.  These sheets can be turned in with the money.

I have an excel file with a ton of our club info if anyone is interested.

We have a standard league sheet that all people running leagues use so that we remain consistent. I don't know why some leagues report information better than others. People are just busy I guess. I think we're lucky in KC to have so many people willing to run all the different leagues. We had seven leagues in KC all summer and I think all of them have been well attended. Now, if we could just nail down the problem with data collection.  ::)

If you have tools to share I'd be happy to add them to my toolbox Mike.

Is it proper to call Swope the gully golf course?

If you score all birdies, is it called a "Flock of Seagulls"??

One day on a Friday evening about 5 years ago I did observe an entourage of  30+ seagulls fly the gullys at Swope. Apparently there was bug something hatching , mayflies maybe? They flew back and forth like huge swallows. It was truly surreal.
I watched them for 1/2 hour then they went on their merry way. And so did I.
