Kansas City Flying Disc Club Championships - Oct. 8-9, 2016
« on: September 13, 2016, 09:06:06 AM »
More information will be available this evening. I just wanted to let you know what courses we are playing and have this thread up and going.

What I can tell you is:

A) We are using Heritage and Stocksdale (aka Bad Rock Creek)
B) We are also using Prairie Center
C) We are also using another Missouri course (Will have that tonight when I post more information)

There is a lot of little things I have to clarify today before we get the rest of the information out but we are just about there.

Thank you Kujo for your fine work. To lessen the load a little, you can either leave the settings from the tournament or if you feel froggy, come up with a layout and let me know where everything is here so people will know. I'll leave it up to you. I trust you know the course better than I do. Just make it fun, while still competitive. Thanks.

Also, I just received a note from Tom, that there may be a soccer tournament that weekend. With that in mind, I'm going to have us move over to Lakeside Hills (aka Birdland) for the other course along side Heritage.

WW will be a good mix between short and long settings. i probably wont move too much from where they are now but there will be a few changes and i will post on this thread as well as the WW pin setting thread as to where they end up.

1 and 8 are set. i was already planning on 17 by road, and i can get 12 there no problem. i think 2, 5, and 14 will be the other holes set long. everything else will be left where they are

MK - im planning on playing WW this saturday morning around 8 or 9am and moving a few of these during the round if yall wanna come out

12 and 17 are the only holes left to move at WW.

*need a 8ft 4x4 and some post hole diggers to fix hole 8 sign, its still broke.  :-[
*When will the new marquee with the course map be installed???
*looks like phase 1 of walking trails are complete  :D
*large tree still down on right side of 8 but it is not in the way of anything  :P

Can someone kindly post pin settings, per course or at least, the course total length? Thanks much.

So are we playing ks. Or mo. First?  Do we just pay and register the morning of the first day or is it pay online .   Havent heard nothing about either one of these.
