Winter Safari Saturday PDGA league
« on: September 27, 2016, 11:00:16 AM »
A few people have suggested to me that I should run a traveling PDGA winter league.  Before I go to the board to get their blessing, I thought I'd ask here.

Yes, I realize it would mean golf on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.  Yes, I realize it would overlap with ice bowl.

That's why I am asking.

I suspect I would play 2-3x the whole 10 weeks.

Not sure.  Those are up for suggestions.
I doubt I would get too far out of the usual footprint.

I'd include Kansas and Missouri courses.  The last week likely would be a Frostbreaker preview.

I'd play as much as possible. It's a lot easier for me to get out on a Saturday morning than weekday evenings.

Event submitted to KCFDC board.

When/if it is approved, I will make an announcement.
Also, I will start working on course schedules.

I voted YES for the winter pdga league on saturdays, but I remembered that I LOVE some downunder dubs on saturdays...so, while I would play the league, I would also probably leave early to catch dubs...
