Clean up needed
« on: October 24, 2016, 07:05:11 AM »
Two dump areas on hole 8 fairway down from hole 9 tee pad.

Also a couch is in the bushes between 15 and 16 fairway.

I didn't see any other big dump areas.

Baskets have not been moved for the november 5 tournament.

I only walked 4, 7, and 11 to get the new distance measurements, and overall, the course looked really, really good with a fresh mow.

Doug told me baskets will be moved soon.  We're still 2 weeks out.

If you'd like practice on the new holes...go to a field, any field, any open field...and throw it AS FAR AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY THROW.

Then go pick up your disk

and throw it AS FAR AS YOU CAN POSSIBLY THROW.

again, REPEAT one or two more times as necessary, till you can see the basket for your final upshot throw.   ;)

The dump piles are new - I will notify P&R about those and let them clean those up. Other than that the course looks wonderful. I moved most of the course to the long positions today and will do the others tomorrow.

yeah, I was really impressed on how short the grass actually was.  About the shortest I've ever seen it.

It looked good minus all that. (Me, Matt and MK were together). Someone left furniture in addition to trash. Bummer.

Thanks Doug!  The course looks great, other than the trash dumped.  I only posted this to make sure that you all who have contact with p&r could notify them.

End of season mows, they go down as low as they can.  It won't be mowed again until next year.

Good luck on the event, truly sorry I can't make it this year.
