Great American Cleanup at Kessler Park
« on: April 18, 2007, 03:44:40 PM »
April 28th is the scheduled Earth Day/Great American Cleanup day at Kessler Park. As in previous years we'll be meeting at Prospect and Lexington and then going from there to the designated work stations. This event is sponsored by Historic Northeast Restoration Corporation (where I still work part-time). We'll have some youth from Youth Front and Kauffman Scholars, area residents, business owners and substantial support from Kansas City Parks dept and KCMO police. I've had several volunteers each year from the club and sure could use help again this year. Please call me at 913.269.4407 to volunteer or talk to Jack.

This could be a great course with more people helping, also the Parks and Recreation will be out there to help.  By our support of being out there to help, it only reinforces how we help the park become better.

get out there and be a part of the solution, not the problem.

I'll be out there ~8.  Looking for people to help.
