The word is getting out about this tournament. I've been getting feedback from co-workers telling me they heard about this tournament through other sources than me.

Thornfield, which is a private course, will be open for practice from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. only, starting tomorrow through Monday. It is not open for practice today, Thursday, July 23.

Also, Rosedale is getting mowed today.

I am not playing in teh event like I had hoped - However I will be in town with the Camera and hopefully out shooting in the afternoons...so if you know of any particular shots of people or vendors, signs crowds etc..please contact me..

I am freelancing (except for Rick and the Magazine) so my time and shots are for all unless a specific group wants some shots.

can someone help me out.  are the finals for the mens pro open at waterworks on saturday or at blue valley?

i  just  cant  read  those   charts

Semifinals for the pros at Waterworks Saturday morning followed by finals at Blue Valley Saturday afternoon.

Does anyone know what percentage of the field makes it to the semifinals?  And what percentage cashes?  I'm sure it's different for different divisions.

Holes 4 & 7 were listed as par 4's in the live scoring.  They are now playing Rosedale.  I don't remember these being that tough, but it did look like it from the scores on the lead card.  Are there some new long pins?  Wasn't it hole #8 that is the island?  Is the course set mostly long right now?  How about the pins for the other courses?  Is they like 75% long, or does it just depend on the course?

Ok, I looked at the Rosedale map.  Saw that hole 4 had a long right position that might require a bit of a dog-leg?  Looks like 6 and 7 were combined into one hole with hole 9 added after the old hole 9, which is now 8.  Is this a permanent design change or just a world's design.

Can I just respond here with a dropped jaw at Avery Jenkins' Blue Valley 53?  Palmer told me he deuced 10 and 11???  Seriously???  Is there video footage of this out there?
