I like the photo logos but would be concerned about the logo on a disc? Maybe you come up with two;
one for printed material (tshirts, paper materials etc) and another logo for discs

When Luke gets all the code hashed out.  Don't know where all these voices were when I said I'd oversee the development of this site.  Guess that's why I had to contact friends from Iowa to help me.

Aren't invitations announced next year?

Last spring, I suggested that we have web site stuff ready as soon as '08 worlds were done.  Of course, Tim, I or anyone else had time to make that happen.  I'd propose the final cutoff date to be when invitations are announced.  By then the site should be fleshed out full of all pertinent information.  If it takes contracting someone to hit that date, then let's do it.   

Invites won't be out until mid-February.

Chris - I have software and systems testing, user interface experience and would love to help de-bug, trouble shoot and provide feedback as you begin but alpha and beta sites together.

be patient.  the invitations probably won't even be out until next february at the earliest.

people that don't get invited won't be able to sign up until a while after that.
