destruction at swope

Anyone know why 8's teepad is broken in half?

the right pin position for #7 was also run over and the pole is on the ground...

i know a few trees have been removed, but did these things happen when the trees were being taken out?

apparently something heavy like a 100 year old oak came down on #8 tee. I was out there on friday morning around 11, the tree was completely gone and a parks dump truck was still out there.
check out the stump, pretty cool that a tree like that could be that hollow.
time to start working with the parks dept to plant some new trees.

I'd be more then happy to help with planting some trees at Swope. Wal-Mart had a ton of trees the were clearing out, but my budget didn't allow for me to snatch them up.

I want to state for the record that BloodThursty Detonata had nothing to do with this particular episode of tree abuse at Swope.  I ain't tryin to let my rep slip, but I am innocent.  For any trees that get this message, though, you still gotta watch your @#%$ around me.  I don't care if I'm at Swope or any other course.  If you're a tree and I catch you eyeballin' me, I will *&%@ your @#%$ up.
