I will be at Pleasant Hill League Sunday 3/9 at noon....

I now have KCFDC Club disc for sale, I picked up an assortment from Rick at Discgolfworld.  I will have them available before/after league and probably when I'm out playing a casual round.  All proceeds go to KCFDC.

If you can't Wyco, hope to see you at Lake Shore.....if you have questions about league give me a call at 816-210-1063.

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 3/9 (50 - 55 degrees, Calm wind conditions)

Seven players out for League at Lake Shore, with 2 long distance travelers (Steve from Smithville, Leo from Topeka).  The course record was obliterated today!   Todd/Narin were hot out of the box, birding 2 thru 10 establishing a 2 stoke lead over Leo/Steve.  Then Leo/Steve started battling back by birding 11 and when both teams birdied 15 they were tied at 12 down.  But Todd/Narin only had 1 more birdie, while Leo/Steve birdied out to establish the new course record of 39!  For those keeping score at home Leo/Steve didn't birdie holes 1, 8, and 9.

Led DaPrato/Steve Dresser 39 $25
Narin Clouse/Todd Henry 41 $15
Ted Keith/Dan Coffman 44
Fred Fortson/Phred 48

Next weekend league will be Sunday 3/16 noon at Lake Shore, hope to see you there.....if you have questions about league give me a call at 816-210-1063.

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 3/16 (Cloudy 42 - 48 degrees, East - Northeast wind at 5 - 8)

Thirteen players out for League at Lake Shore, Leo came back from Topeka to defend his course record.  Bobby drew Cali and bought in as his own partner.  With less than ideal conditions 2 teams tied the course record of 39 (Leo/Otto and Bobby/Bobby).  To be honest Leo/Otto should of set a new course record, but on hole 10 Leo putted his 22-25 footer, not realizing Otto was inside of 15.....and they both missed. :o  In the end it didn't matter, as Leo/Otto won the playoff when Leo parked hole 1.

Leo DaPrato   Otto Spiers   39   $42.00
Heberto Villarreal   Heberto Villarreal   39   $28.00
Todd Henry   Brian Palmer   43
Dan Coffman   Joe Williamson   43
Andy Lewis   Arturo Villarreal   45
Dick Parker   Andrew Jewett   46
Kevin Hart   Bob Copeland   46

Next weekend league will be noon Sunday 3/23 at Lake Shore, hope to see you there....if you have questions about league give me a call at 816-210-1063.

In light of the options available, I believe that Saturday is better, especially at 11 am. Those who do not want to, or cannot make it to the Olathe or Rosedale Down Under leagues would have one on the Missouri side around the same time of day.

From northern Independence, it's probably 30-40 but that's only just over the average drive time to most courses.

I'm in for Saturdays at 11:00 AM, at least for tomorrow! Anybody else?? Looks like you all have been playing on Sundays, but "Easter" Sunday? Sorry...

OT for sure, that post you pulled was from 11/07, Down Under league is during Standard time, and finishes up on Daylight time, which is now what we are in.

Thanks,

Jack

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 4/6 (Partly Cloudy 53 - 62 degrees, South - Southwest wind at 8 - 14)

Seven players out for League at Lake Shore on a breezy spring day.  Todd/Todd started out by birding the first 8 holes (looked like a new course record was in the making), then he missed his birdie putt on #9 and then managed to somehow boogie #10. :o  Meanwhile Bobby/Leslie we're hanging tough and after Bobby hit a 50-60' putt for birdie on #10 they took a one stroke lead.  It was to no avail though as Todd/Todd shook off the boogie to finish with the win.  Tom Butler came within a couple of inches of skip acing #8, hitting the top lip of the basket (this is a 342' hole).

Todd Henry/Todd Henry                41   $25.00
Heberto Villarreal/Leslie Palmer   43   $15.00
Andy Lewis/Dan Coffman         46
Tom Butler/Brian Palmer                47

Next weekend league will be noon Sunday 4/13 at Lake Shore, hope to see you there....if you have questions about league give me a call at 816-210-1063.

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 4/13 (Cloudy 37-45 degrees, North - Northwest wind at 8 - 14)

Seven players out for League at Lake Shore on a flashback to winter day.  This one was a dogfight from the start, by hole #15 Andy/Dan had a 1 stroke lead at 10 down with Leo/Kevin and CD/CD at 9 down (Bobby/Deano were "out of it" at 8 down).  Unfortunately for Andy/Dan the lead was just a mirage, Leo/Kevin birdied the last 4 holes to finish at 13 down to win.  Andy/Dan tied with CD/CD at 12 down but CD/CD parked hole #1 in the playoff to take second.

Leo DaPrato/Kevin Hart   41   $25.00
Duane Steiner/DuaneSteiner 42   $15.00
Andy Lewis/Dan Coffman   42
Heberto Villarreal/Dean Uhlmann   44
Next Sunday (4/20) is the Afternoon "D" Lite singles tournament, registration 12 to 12:45 with tee-off at 1PM at Lake Shore, hope to see you there....if you have questions give me a call at 816-210-1063.
