OK, some people can't take a hint (Vince) ::)...since Vince cleared the pads, I've had to reconsider my decision :-*...

So, disregard my earlier whiny post about not having League...its on like DonkeyKong  :P...

Hope to see everyone (especially those of you who've been lighting my phone up) tomorrow.

Snow League at Lake View tomorrow at noon-thirty...

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 1/16(Partly Cloudy 20 - 24, East - Southeast 3 - 6 mph)

Ten players out for Snow League at Lake Shore on a crisp winter afternoon.  Nice day for Snow golf...pads were in great shape thanks to Vince.  Some pretty impressive scores considering the snow.  Got to witness Jay/Lee and John/Vince lite it up with both teams recording 9 birdies...seems like the majority of them were parked on top of it  :P...it was a dead heat until John/Vince had a bad drive on #15, they both then threw their approach shots OB, and missed their 28' putt to take a 5 ???...John/Vince wound up tied with Paul/Will (who went boogie free) at 47, but John/Vince won the playoff with a birdie on #1.

I will do them Dan, first thing tomorrow.....err, in a few minutes, later today this morning, then head to Legacy and clean them pads before heading to Independence.  I need to play bad too.  Call it "Cabin Disc Fever?"

I guess first thing in the morning is different if your in the Army :)

Kent Kelly and I cleared Phill this morning.

If Gary Lezack doesn't have an on air "expirience" over this next storm, maybe we can play dubs tomorrow.

Even a bad day on the disc-golf course beats ANY day at work! -

A group of sharks are making their way to Phill Lake.  I would expect a big turnout.   See you there.  Yes even me...

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 1/23(Overcast with Haze 18, North 7 - 10 mph)

Even dozen players out for Snow League at Lake Shore on a crisp winter afternoon.  Thanks to Tom V and Kent K for clearing the pads on Saturday.  Well with the Sharks coming out there was blood on the snow :'(...Dick/Leo took first with a 46 when Herberto/Fox counldn't convert their birdie on #18 short to finish at 47 (Seemed like that was Bobby's first miss since hole #1...he hit a couple of 35 - 40 footers)...weird fact, neither of the top teams birdied #18 short ???...

I'm just trying to be proactive and let everyone know what the conditions are...its possible that it will get warm enough to melt the the 3 foot of snow out of the park entrances by Sunday...if it happens, then it would probably be a muddy mess.  At this point no vehicles have attempted to enter the park since the new snow...prior to that 1 vehicle attempted the north entrance and appeared to have a problem in the vicinity of the old stump...I don't have a car that I would attempt to drive in.

Anyway, I didn't want to wait and potentially cancel League Saturday afternoon again.  Hopefully, the heat wave comes in and we can have normal PHill League next week...
