Jay ran League for me on 5-1...I think there were about 15 -16 players out.  Lee/Jose won with a 43...Jay/Tank were second with a 44.  I'll get the scorecards and post scores later.

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 5/8(Clear 79 - 83, wind Southeast 13 - 16 gusting to 24 mph)

Twentythree players out for League at Lake Shore on a beautiful Mother's Day.  Park was in excellent shape after a fresh mow early last week.  Dan/Leo and Mark/Steve tied for first with 45s...Boyd/Kevin and Alec/Jay tied for 3rd with 46s...we elected to split the cash so people could hit the Sunday Drive at Cliff.  Shot of the day was Narin hitting the basket on #11.

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 5/15(Cloudy 52 - 53, wind North - Northwest 14 - 17 gusting to 23 mph)

Thirteen players out for League at Lake Shore on a chilly afternoon.  Park was in gorgeous condition after a fresh mow late in the week.  Jake/Fox and Dan/Jitt battled all day with Jake/Fox grabbing a 1 shot lead off of Jake's park job on #8 for a bird...Dan/Jitt tied it back up with their bird on #13...then grabbed a 1 stroke lead when Jake/Fox bogeyed #15...Jake/Fox tied with a bird on #18...then the teams birdied out to finish tied at 45.  Wound up being a 1 hole playoff when Jake/Fox birdied #1 Long for the win.  Shot of the day was Jake's drive on #8 to within 10'.

City mowed the park (again) yesterday...its in phenomenal condition...dare I say it, its like playing on a golf course...be a good weekend to camp and play League on Sunday.

Is there a league going on today at 12:30? My friend and I plan to attend our first league match today. If so, where do we meet and when do we pay? It will be our first time at this course as well. Sundays are so convenient for my schedule.

League will not start before noon-thirty, quite often it is closer to 1 pm.  people practice putts and such then meet at the picnic tables by 18 to ante up and draw cards for partners.

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 5/22(Variable clouds 80 - 83, wind South - Soutthwest 14 - 20 gusting to 32 mph)

Twentysix players (most ever) out for League at Lake Shore on a windy afternoon.  Park was in gorgeous condition after a fresh mow late in the week.  Paul/Spencer cruised to a 2 stroke win on the back of Spencer's Ace on #7 with a 45...SteelerDoug/Zack (representing opposite ends of the spectrum with Zack out for his first League, and SteelerDoug in his last League before shipping out tomorrow morning) were second with a 47...Fawn/Hefner and Caleb/Dick split 3rd and 4th cash tied with 48s.  Shot heard round the park (casual players were asking what all the yelling was about)... Spencer's Ace on #7.

Eighteen players out for League at Lake Shore on a warm and windy afternoon.  Park was in tiptop shape as usual.  Jose/Shannon cruised to the easy win with a 41...for those scoring at home, they didn't get 8,14, 15, 16, and 18.  Andrew/Narin and Arturo/Brian tied with 45s for 2nd...they split 2nd and 3rd cash.  Eight players stuck around and threw another round afterwards...

A bakers dozen of players out for League at Lake Shore on a hot and sunny afternoon.  Park was in tiptop shape as usual.  Jay/Zack ekked out the one stroke win with a 44 with back to back birds on 17 and 18.  Brandon/Narin took second with a 45.  Shots of the day...Caleb hit the nickel on #10...right after Caleb's throw, Jay skipped clear over the basket on #7...a hole later Jake hit the top of #8 Right.   Five players stuck around and threw another round afterwards...

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 6/12(Mostly Cloudy - Fair 67 - 74, wind East 9-12 mph)

Eight players out for League at Lake Shore on a unseasonably cool afternoon.  Park was in tiptop shape as usual (with a fresh mow).  Brandon and I moved #3 to the new Left pin and #15 to the replacement Left pin on Saturday.   After eleven holes we had 3 teams tied at 7 down...then Narin parked his drive within 10' of #12 Long (in the woods) for the gimme birdie...Andrew/Narin would cruise to the 3 stroke win from there...Dan/Steve and Caleb/TJ tied for second with 45s...played 4 playoff holes with both teams birding all 4 and called it a tie.  Had back to back star birds on holes #13 and #14 Short...wouldn't consider either these holes easy birds.  Five players stuck around and played a round of wolf afterwards...

Pleasant Hill League, Sunday 6/19(Clear 82 - 88, wind Southeast 6-9 mph)

Twenty players out for League at Lake Shore on Father's Day on a beauuutiful summer afternoon.  Park was in terrific shape after hosting the Bluebird on Saturday(although there were some limbs down from the weekend storms).  Today was the Brandon/Dan show...after missing a 30 footer for bird on #1, they rattled off 7 in a row...added 5 more birds on the back nine to finish with a 42.  Jay/Hayes were second with a 44...Aaron/Hefner and Slim/BP were tied for third with 45s...Slim/BP won the playoff with the bird on hole #1.  Shot of the day was Levon's drive on #6 that went long and almost skipped into a boat that had just pulled out of the park going South  ...would of been kool to see if Levon could've gotten them stopped to retreive his disc.  Six players stuck around and played a round of wolf afterwards...
