Pleasant Hill League Sunday Jan 29, 2012 gave way to a fine winter day, Sunny skies and only 5-7mph wind. High 40s only attracted 7 players out for a casual, but still very competitive draw doubles round. Played 20 Holes- Par 60 using the Alternate Tee Pads. 1 of the extra holes I added a hanging basket. And the other extra hole played across the water slight uphill about 300ft. We had a CTP on the hanging basket went to Sean.

We have really been blessed with great weather on Sundays this Winter.

Name                Score  Course Rating  Payout

Ron Klein/Sean Chancellor        51  1015   $25
Doug Kroll/Paul Beard               53   997    $10
Narin Clouse/Cali                      55   980
Matt Fox/Dalton Puckhber         56   971

Shot of the Day goes to Paul with a Grip Lock near Black Ace on Hole 4 Alt. He almost put it in on Basket 10, we all came close to getting a Dollar from him:)

Next League is at noon-thirty Sunday 2/5 at Lake Shore, we will play a safari round. hope to see you there....if you have questions about league give me a call at 816-808-5027.

Narin, those new holes around the south side of the lake were my favorites from today's round.  Good job getting the course ready.

I didn't play, but it's 20 holes and not the normal setup.  It's difficult to compare the two rounds (apples to oranges).   I would like to know how ratings were calculated.

I would as well.  How do you calculate rating for doubles rounds?

Not yelling, I'm just curious how he did it.   Ratings are tough to generate for doubles rounds.

I DID NOT CALCULATE, RON KLEIN DID, NO .......

Enough Said.....Ron is not privy to the calculations of the formula, so those are not based on PDGA ratings Timko....

So what are we looking at tomorrow?  It's Easter Sunday.  Will there be a good showing?  I'm planning on being there.
