New Players 9/29
« on: September 30, 2016, 07:43:55 AM »
Last night was this year's finale for New Players league.  Couldn't have been a better evening.

Big news of the evening was Nabil's ace on hole 18!  Congratulations, Nabil!

Since it was the last round of the year, I let the winnning team on each card choose from the swag and discs in the donation boxes.  Hottest card was Aaron & Steve at 46 followed by David & myself at 49.  (It was all David.)

I've really enjoyed doing this for the last part of the year and I fully intend to be back at it again in the spring.  Thursday New Players league will be at Pleasant Hill next spring and I have no intentions of making any other major changes to it.

In the mean time, I'm looking forward to putting league and glow rounds during the winter.

You and Steeler should get together and start one on the east side.

How does a putting league work exactly? Just sounds interesting. I dont know if i'd have the time at the moment to help set something up. Pretty stacked busy at work and home.

Already tried last year.  See previous thread somewhere.
Problem is no "free" facility available.
Owners of facilities desire rent-to-use $'s.
