How about a Saturday summer league???? I would like to see some "local" courses have some weekend leagues again like the old days.
Re: Swope and Rosedale was where they used to be but why not SMP?? Would probably have a decent turnout!! And hopefully another local course could have one on Sunday.
Just a suggestion.

Tuesday would be a good selection.  Both courses are reasonably far from each other, and would draw different crowds.

Got to play it yesterday. 5 birdies and a bogey. I liked the course alot, what a great piece of land. When on 4's tee pad I looked back up the road that goes south right there and seen 10-12 deer. Great job, Dirk and crew.

Yes, only because it's closer to home. SMP is still 40-45 minutes from home with no traffic. I'm sure I'll make some exceptions. It's getting harder and harder to make more than one league night per week what with my son's little league coming up -- and the wife coming down!!

One of these days I would enjoy throwing a few with you over lunch, CD.  Just have to catch a day when I have no conflicts, remember to throw my shoes and discs in the trunk, and have friendly weather.

Is there a time line posted anywhere for SMP?

Things like:

Bulliten Board?

Trash Cans?

Tee Pads?

Tee Signs?

I love the course, could help out occasionally, and bring a few more hands as well.

There is no official time line, but we are continuing to upgrade from our basic basket installation all the time.  We now have a couple of permanent trashcans in strategic spots.  We will be installing Tee Markers (Not pads) in the next few weeks. Course map and info signage is also in the works and should be ready soon. I'll post most of these updates in the course improvements thread.

Also, Notice hole 4 has been removed and been replaced by a new hole 6. Map at top of this thread
