I'll bring one or two crock pots of chicken/white bean chili.
I can also get my brother in law to bring a pretty kick ass PA system if you are interested?

Please bring some Slim Whitman. You never know when we will need it as an alien defense.

I will bring a $25 Dining Certificate from Restaurant.com as a C-T-P prize. No fast food, but a good choice of decent restaurants around town.

p.s. Write me up for the lightest ESP FLX Surge you can find??

p.p.s. Thanks for the weather report. How about Sunday's weather??

WOW...200 to 300 golfers, 40 degree temp on soggy land. Can you say mosh pit anyone? I hope the park does not get torn up too bad.

Re: Ice Bowl 2008-hay or mulch
« Reply #26 on: January 23, 2008, 04:36:07 PM »
Dudes, we need mulch or hay at Rosie for the ICE BOWL.  The course is going to get tore up with the warm weather.  I would be glad to help any time on Saturday and would stay till it was done.    Rosie needs to be preped for the cattle drive of golfers.

Who has extra hay bales, a truck, or even thinks this is necessary?

Hay and/or mulch isn't solving any erosion problems. Grass seed and lots of it with hay on top might work. All of our aging courses need to be evaluated and addressed not only for the erosion but basket height as well.

Ya, maybe you are missing the point i am trying to make.  It is going to be in the 50's on Sunday, the ground currently has snow on it, and there are going to be 200+ people tearing through the course.  I understand how to grow grass, i have been dealing with that at Yates.

I guess I am thinking about course prevention and that should probably be a course coordinator thing i believe.
