I wanna hand it to whoever came through with the tags. After some of the posts I was getting nervous.

I was new to kc area leagues last year and unaware of bag tags.  If it is still possible to get a tag for this year, how might I go about doing that?

I was impressed with the bag tag design for 08.  Scott Mallen was responsible for the art work and once again Scottie came through with an amazing design.  I would love to see what Scottie could come up with for WORLDS.  We need to have a solid design for the KCWO 08 as well as WORLDS 09.

There were still a bunch of bags tags left at our last club meeting at Crown Center and I believe you can pick em up at Disc Golf World.

So you're looking for tags 1 through 10 ... well I was lucky enough to have drawn No. 8 at the Ice Bowl and have yet to play a round in which I would lose it, which for sure will happen, as I am still an amateur. So catch me out at Swope or Rosedale some lucky Saturday or Sunday, and you can have your shot at No. 8.

Remember if you have a tag you are suppose to play atleast one club event per year...here is a refresher on the rules.

1. Tags must be attached to bags in a visible location and carried at all times.

2. You MUST play with other tag holders on your card at any KCFDC event. Off-card challenges should be limited to one individual choice, you can accept or decline off-card challenges.  Off-card challenges will be settled after on-card challenges.

3. You may not hide or withhold a tag when you have a lower number.

4. If you have to leave during a challenge round for any reason you will forfeit your tag and graciously accept the highest numbered tag in the group.

5.  If you lose your tag you may be able to PURCHASE a new one depending upon availability, you must also notify a member of the EC if tag 1-10 is lost.

6. If you have a tag you must play in one club event each month.

Fred Smith currently has #1.

Missouri....our state animal is sterile, our state rock is lead, and we elected a dead guy to the U.S. Senate.  Of course, he was the best candidate.

Personally, I thought a lot of trees leaned into the fairway that last round.

Will bag tags be in play during the corporate challenge?

For what is is worth- I think they should be but of course, only for full teams that both have tags.

Interested in hearing the official ruling from KCFDC honchos?

It's a doubles event, so all parties would have to agree ahead of time.
