How often is the basket at those FAR pin-placements, down the hill past the fence?

I had to call my second round early yesterday and walked by the far pin-placements, man those would be fun to play!

i don't think i've seen them there for casual play in the 2 years that i've played.

though i think they are used for the wide open.

It's like long #18.  You rarely see the basket with the flag there, but there is a practice basket you can throw to.  They move the practice basket from #18 to #9 long sometimes, normally during spring/summer league.

Having played Rosey weekly for nearly 5 years, the shorter of the two positions beyond the fence is used once or twice a year.  The realy far one, near the pavillion has not been used in a LONG time. (Pun intended).... this is the best I can remember, and my memory really sux lately!

Which one is on the edge of the slope, past the big trees?  Is that the really long one?

If so, the basket from #18 long was there for a few months last year.  That's a pretty fun hole.
