There was talk about having a Blue Valley league for a while, and I think there was a weekend one before I moved to town.  I'd really like to see something like that starting again, since it's the closest "big" course to my house.

It basically disbanded because of lack of attendance, and the guy running it (the CC at the time) basically disappeared.

The summer leagues I am speaking of used to be Swope on Sat and Rosedale on Sunday but its been quite awhile so some may not have known or remember those days. I think the days we played Swope it was doubles too. As few brain cells I have left its amazing I remember.

This makes my 18th year of playing.

Mke Penney is trying to position Cliff Drive League on Saturdays, and make it a doubles league.

We still try to get at least a .25 skins round on Sunday at Rosey. Format varies. It's kind of hit/miss depending on tourneys and weather. 1-2pm has been a pretty good time. I suggest an e-mail text list of people wanting to join in. The wise, old one you are Glover, the Homey skins took away the last remnants of what was a good Sun. league. With all the new players, we might be able to get something going again. I say the same with Swope on Sat. Bring back the Oldies!
