Any work on new course/s south and east KC MO area?

Several years ago there was some talk about a course in Lee's Summit, but didn't get past the Corp. of Engineers or something.  Any news on possible courses in south Kansas City (further south than Swope anyway), or east like Blue Springs?

I heard talk of something in Blue Springs but that's all I can tell you. I don't know if it's going to happen, has happened or what. The Lee's Summit deal did fall through after it was approved and everything.

I played with a guy this week that was telling me that he is a couch in Belton and that at one of the schools they have a 9 hole course set up. For summer school that is all he teaches to the kids.
