can't commit to this yet.  Why would they play two rounds on Sunday, but only one on Saturday....does that seem backwards to anyone else?

Also, I'll play in whatever division plays Akita's only once, thank you.
Missouri....our state animal is sterile, our state rock is lead, and we elected a dead guy to the U.S. Senate.  Of course, he was the best candidate.

You have no idea.  Actually, it's just that the regular course is so much better.

I've not played there, but from what I understand, Ozark Mountain could be a round as long as West Lake (and the Lake is 24 holes).

JOhn,

I am pretty sure it has always been 1-2 format.  Thats why we can leave early on Saturday, set up, party, pass out, wake up and play, then drive home, try to not fall asleep and go to work, and be thankful that there is a chair to sit in for the Monday after this event.....

It's been a one-day event more than once.

No floating options that I know of, this is about 2 hours SE of Columbia.

There are many good floating options nearby.  The Gasconade River runs very close to the course, but it's a slow float.  You might like the Little Piney or Big Piney better, which are also nearby.  Moreland's Canoe Rental is located between Vienna and Vichy.   Their address and phone number are:  Moreland's, Rt.1 Box 151, Vienna, MO. 65582
(573) 422-3783.  Moreland's is not too far from the course...they also have a restaurant where we've eaten before during our trips to Vichy (rhymes with fishy).
